Villa Pizzorusso

LeilaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This property is superb. The house has been restored beautifully, it is simply stunning. The Italian architecture and stone work are impressive, and the interior design is wonderful. The photos do not do this villa justice. We had the most magical family trip, it was the perfect home for our special celebrations. We stayed as a family group of 9, and there was plenty of space for everyone to feel at home. The amount of bedrooms and bathrooms is spot on. The setting is stunning, so private and peaceful, not another building in sight. Ian, the house manager, was extremely helpful and responsive, and Randall, the owner, was kind enough to open the beautiful pool early for us to enjoy for our trip!! We are incredibly grateful for our stay at Villa Pizzorusso, it couldn’t have been better, and we would love to return one day!! I would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of booking. Thank you 🙏🏼

Le Torri di Bagnara Castles

DavidRating, 5 stars34 months ago
Amazing, incredible, peaceful, words can’t describe how unique this place is. Made even more so by the exceptional service before and during our stay. A truly magical stay. We came to celebrate our wedding with 25 friends and family, renting both the castle and Tower. Before our stay Zenaide organized so many things for us, transfers, trips to Florence and Rome, catering, cooking classes and an amazing truffle hunt in the magnificent grounds. Nothing was too much trouble and she is an amazing host. Marcella provided a wonderful greeting and was there every day to help and support us, even ringing in pizza orders to compensate for our lack of Italian. All the rooms are lovely, with air con in every space and great places to relax quietly if you want some peace. We also found we cycled through the multiple spaces; pool, back patio, courtyard through the day with the full group. Each giving a different but very relaxing feel. We heard the Tower is going to be redeveloped into luxury suites over the winter 2022/23 and august am sure it will be of the same magnificent standard as the castle, but with the added advantage of the views across the valley, as the tower is a little further up the hill than the castle. Overall, a magical place made spectacular by the service and attention to detail. Can’t wait to go back!

Villa Conti Galgani

I’m hesitant to share what an amazing home this is, I want it for myself!!!! There is no detail spared. This original villa was recently remodeled and I felt like we were in a home in Architectural Digest. Such a gorgeous, cozy space to share with your family and larger groups. Vittoria was delightful!

Villa Orti

HannaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had 5 night trip with large family. Easter was a good time to visit – sunny and warm enough but not crowded. With Villa Orti we were happy with great location. We were able to walk to the Old Town, catch the ferry to Lokrum, and Mount Srd Cable Car Station by foot. For Lapad and Babin Kuk, we took a taxi, but both could have been reached easily. We especially loved the main house, where the first-floor living room and kitchen made it easy to gather in the evenings. The outdoor spaces were charming & we even got excited about playing bocce! What really made our stay feel like a holiday was the helpful housekeeper, who also prepared breakfast for us for an additional fee and a grocery pre-stock. It’s worth noting that Villa Orti & Dubrovnik has quite a few stairs and we had baby carriers. But in city, you can also get around with a stroller – the main streets of the Old Town Villa Orti was quick to respond to our messages. All in all, we feel our holiday was a real success :)

Villa Art Deco

My friends and I stayed at this beautiful property to celebrate our 60th birthdays. Our host Ivan was so helpful before we arrived with suggestions for a chef and organized transportation and tours to Montenegro and Bosnia, and well as a local tour of the old town. He also helped us organize a private boat trip to local islands, which was amazing. Every single person that he put us in touch was so friendly and helpful, we couldn't have been more happy. We absolutely loved our chef and his assistants, and Ivan himself was so gracious and nice. The villa is beautiful and spacious, and we loved eating all our meals outside by the beautiful pool. The villa is a short walk from the old town, which was really convenient. We would all recommend this villa to anyone. Thanks, Ivan!!!

Casale Sassinoro

BenRating, 5 stars20 months ago
We were a large group of people, and stayed for a week. We brought our own staff, and booked a separate villa for them, which was available on the property, and made everything much easier. The communication between the owner and us was amazing, same goes for Veronica, the person in charge of communication at the property. She went out of her way, to make sure we had the best at stay possible, and helped out with a lot of extras. Every one of the guests was amazed by the condition, interior, cleanliness, and amenities of the villa. Would recommend 10/10 times, - we had an amazing stay. Thank you so much for having us.

Giulia

I rented this villa originally in January 2020, then Covid hit. The owners held my deposit, refusing to refund it, but allowed me to rebook by May 2023. It is a very beautiful villa, but some tips for people considering renting it. . There are 57 steps from the carport down to the villa. So every time you want to leave you have to climb the stairs. In my opinion, this is not a kid friendly house. The house is on 4 levels. All the floors are stone and or tiles. One of the bedrooms is on the lower level where the indoor pool is located. All of the showers are quite narrow. Monica the manager is great and was very helpful and nice. We also had some issues with ants inside the villa which Monica attempted to address.
