Very quiet house in the forest. Rustically furnished, everything works. Well suited for 15 people.

We had booked the place for a JGA with 13 people and were totally thrilled. The pictures don't even come across in the beginning, we are huge the house and also the garden. We had more than enough space to eat, get together and sleep. Since we had a chef in the group with us, the industrial kitchen could be used optimally. Again, there was no lack of amenities and cleanliness. The area offers enough opportunities for nice day trips and also a Rewe can be reached by car in 2 minutes. It was an all-round successful weekend, absolutely recommended!

We stayed at John's place for 2 nights. The cottages are really superbly furnished and are not too small for a family of 4. So here you can also stand it longer. 😊 In the kitchen and bathroom, things like coffee filters, salt, shampoo, toilet paper were available to avoid having to go shopping right away - except food of course. 😉 You can walk right by the house into the forest. 👍 It was not so quiet with us on the WE, which is certainly the case - because there was a dog tournament with us. Otherwise, I can definitely recommend the accommodation and we will definitely come back.

The communication in advance with the owner was very friendly and informative. When we arrived, we were shown everything. The apartment is well equipped, super clean, the beds are very comfortable. We were three families with small children. The three bathrooms were great for us and the many play opportunities inside and out delighted our children. We were completely satisfied. Thank you

We had a very pleasant stay. The place is highly suitable for 8 people for a nice stay right in the middle of prestine nature. Highlight here was the grill place. The host communicated pretty much everything we need. We will come again. Highly recommend if you are visiting Karlovy Vary.

Very nice house and with a group to spend a weekend there

We met on the occasion of our annual family reunion in Gefrees and were accommodated in the refuge and loft. Highlights were the large garden with a self-made playground for the children, toys with billiards and table tennis and enough seating to relax. You didn't notice anything from the adjacent main street and supermarket parking lot. Everyone was thrilled with the accommodation and the possibilities. For me personally, the best accommodation I've been to so far. Perfect for family reunions, short breaks with larger groups but I can also imagine the place very well as a venue for a wedding, if you can book all accommodations over the weekend. Thank you so much for the great experience! We will definitely come back if the opportunity arises

Albert and Steffie's apartment is a real gem in a green setting! It is very well equipped, comfortable, warm and unparalleled cleanliness compared to all our previous airbnb! The garden is still lavishly furnished. The feeling that everything is thought out in every detail for vacationers to enjoy! Some pretty hiking sites nearby (Kammerwagen in Falkenberg, Burghardsteiche in Wiesau, Burgruine Weißenstein in Waldershof...) and some discovery visits in the Czech Republic (Karlovy Vary town, Loket village and Františkovy Lázně thermal site) will have greatly occupied our three days. We thank our hosts for the quality of their welcome and accommodation which helped make our short stay very pleasant!

It is a beautiful tiny house with a morning and evening terrace, in absolute silence. Lovingly, crazy furnished, which was perfect for us! Also perfect with our dogs!Everything we needed was there. Chemnitz, Aue, Schwarzenberg and Gotha, Zwickau are close and super interesting! The best thing for us, as gourmets and former restaurateurs, was the Jägerklause in Waldbach! Extremely good, homemade food!!! Asparagus, fish, game burger, roast really great! (Opening hours!) This short break was so successful!!! We will repeat it!

We had a wonderful weekend at Kathrin's "Haus an der Wiese". Only 7 minutes walking from the station, it was easy to reach by public transportation. The decor style has met exactly my taste! It was super cozy, the reading lamps perfect and the bed comfortable! Less than 5 minutes from the house we were in nature. The Augustusburg can be reached via forest trails, along streams and blooming meadows. We will be happy to come back!

We spent an extended family weekend in the place and felt very comfortable! Although it rained a lot, we didn't get bored. The equipment of the house is also well equipped for rainy days. It offers a lot of variety, such as sauna, table tennis and billiards. And because of the many rooms, there is also enough space to retreat. We highly recommend the place!

For us, my family, these were very relaxing days with very nice excursions to castle ruins and castles that were carved in an enchanting picturesque landscape. Absolutely recommended as far as the distance to all the sights is concerned I absolutely recommend this accommodation. The day can also end the day relaxed in the private Vinori with delicious wine😉🥂.

A great house with plenty of space for all guests. The facility leaves nothing to be desired. The location is super quiet on a slope and you can start hikes directly from there. We will be happy to come back.

It was beautiful. Was there with my girlfriend and our 2 dogs, the dogs can play in the garden and you can explore the area from here. Supermarket is min 5. Very quiet and idyllic. In the house there is everything you need, the kitchen is superbly equipped. I'd love to come back :)

Wonderful 🌟 We were able to arrive with the children, unpack and start the holiday. Everything is thought of. Really everything. Blackout in the rooms, night lights for hallway and bathroom, fluorescent marking for a step in the bathroom. Comprehensive amenities. Plenty of towels. The refrigerator was already ready to go. We had a wonderful short break over Pentecost in this fantastic holiday home. The furnishings really left nothing to be desired. A special highlight for us and our dogs was the completely and safely fenced garden – just perfect! We enjoyed the evenings on the cozy terrace with its fantastic view and used the existing grill for great barbecue evenings. The fact that charcoal was even considered is just one of many details that make the stay so special. Since it was a bit chilly for the season, we used the fireplace, which created a cosy and comfortable atmosphere in no time. The host was very nice, uncomplicated and quickly available at any time for questions. You felt immediately welcome. The surroundings of Bad Elster are also ideal for long walks with dogs and also a paradise for geocachers. We recovered incredibly well in the short time and would have liked to stay longer.

We went there for the second time – and it was beautiful again! The house is wonderfully quiet, so you can relax wonderfully, and yet Annaberg-Buchholz is within walking distance. It's a perfect combination of recreation and experience! Gladly again and again! :)

Very satisfied. The location and the garden were even better than the photos suggest, you are actually after 50 meters directly on the lake (if you walk through the adjacent campsite). The three of us got a little tight in the cabin, but that doesn't bother you in the summer.

Communication with the host was very good. The house had everything you needed. Everything was very cozy and clean. The large terrace with direct views of the lake was great. For cold days, there is also a fireplace in the living room and in the boathouse. The surroundings are wonderfully green and provide the necessary relaxation. The sauna is very spacious and heats up quickly. There are private parking spaces directly at the house.
