Accommodation in the historic village centre with a cosy half-timbered ambience, wooden floors and wooden ceilings. For self-catering guests, there is a fully equipped kitchen. For everyone else, there is a bakery/café and a restaurant in the village.

We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air, free spirit and are open to guests. The bakery with traditional furnishings, wood-burning stove, sleeping loft and timeless comfort is located separately on the property. Next to the residential building (40 m away) is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophise, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, pure reduction! Adventure instead of luxury.

From the balcony you can see our lovingly designed garden with seating and play equipment that are available for our guests. On the other side, you can see the picturesque castle hill of Adelebsen with a palace, castle and churches. The nearest bus stop is about 2 minutes walk from the apartment, the train station of the village and the nearest supermarket about 10 minutes.

You will stay in a cozy, very bright basement apartment in a wooden house built according to building biology guidelines. The apartment has its own entrance, a beautiful terrace and the garden (fire pit) can also be used. In addition to a kitchen with an oven and fridge, a washing machine is also available. The house is located in a quiet residential area with nice neighbors. The small town, with good infrastructure, can be reached on foot in five minutes.

It is 40 square meters and is located in a 2-family house on the outskirts of Lenglern. On the upper level are the entrance, bedroom and bathroom. A spiral staircase leads directly from the bedroom down to the living area with a small kitchen. In front of it is the small terrace. Public parking is available right in front of the house. Public transport connection to Göttingen via buses and trains (in 9 minutes the train is at Göttingen train station)

Modernised and cosy 75 sqm apartment in a well-maintained 18th-century half-timbered house. There is a large, as-new kitchen and a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower. There is a new sofa bed with an ottoman in the living room. For possibly a 3rd person. The bedroom now has a box spring bed (180x200 cm), and a travel cot for children can also be set up if needed. There is also a terrace with new seating furniture and an awning.

The apartment is on the first floor of our half-timbered house. There are two double rooms, a single room, a shared kitchen and a shared bathroom. Bed linen and towels (hair dryer) are available. Also everything necessary for the kitchen. (kettle, coffee machine, microwave, iron and ironing board. Almost next door there is a grocery store (with daily fresh baked goods), an inn with good cuisine, hairdresser, bus connections

Family Waldkauz's guest house in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.

Especially around the Nationalpark Kellerwald-Edersee.
