Nestled on an old country road just off of rural route 17 in the heart of the Green Mountains, this spacious private suite separate from our main home awaits your arrival . You can relax and enjoy the peace on 10 secluded peaceful acres. We welcome all of our quests with fresh flowers from our garden The cathedral ceiling guest suite is detached from the main home . You have your own private entrance and parking space . The quest loft room features a living room area overlooking a magnificent view of the Green Mountain National forest of Vermont. With a cozy sofa and chair to relax and enjoy the view with a cast iron stove to warm you on cooler nights. It is furnished with a hotel comfort king bed upgraded linens ,and a selection of pillows for your individual comfort needs. Your private bathroom on the first floor level has a walk in shower and a linen closet filled with cotton linens for your comfort. There is a flat screen TV, sling tv/netflex, a CD player with a collection of relaxation CD's and an I phone docking station for your personal enjoyment as well as access to wi-fi. There is a Keurig coffee maker and selction of coffees , and a tea kettle with a selection of teas, so you can relax and prepare your favorite morning beverage and enjoy the morning view. There is a mini refrigerator for your use and dishes and utensils . Two ceiling fans fans and AC are here for your comfort if needed for warmer summer nights. Our home is located on 10 beautiful open meadow acres which overlook the Green Mountain National Forest. We maintain perennial gardens and have many old apple trees on the land . It is bordered by Baldwin Creek. Just a 10 minute drive down a scenic mountain road along Baldwin Creek you can explore our little town of Bristol. It is a great country town to start out your morning at the Bristol Bakery { a local coffee breakfast cafe} we have a wonderful Art gallery and a local brewery / The Bob Cat Cafe. And a great takeout sandwhich shop/ Almost Home . The town of Middlebury located on the falls of Otter Creek, is 25 minutes away, famous for the Otter Creek Brewery Middlebury College and lots of fun shops to explore as well as two Vermont galleries The city of Burlington is just 45 min. north and is located on the shores of Lake Champlain and has a bustling downtown area wonderful dining and shopping and nightlife The Sugarbush Valley is 20 minutes over the mountain, It is scenic drive, which crosses over the Appalachian trail down into the Sugarbush Valley The valley is quaint and artsy and hosts many things to see and explore, the original home of Flatbread Pizza Things to do are endless in this area : Hiking the Appalachian trail .. biking... walking on our country roads.., swimming in our local rivers and swimming holes ... fishing .. cheese tasting.... wine tasting... visiting museums... and farmers markets... country stores...restaurants ...local Vermont Brewery,s... Lake Champlain ...or just sitting and relaxing and enjoying the view from where you are !! We are always in awe of our fantastic mountain sunrises and awesome sunsets over Lake Champlain with the Adirondack Mountains as the backdrop ....and sometimes we are in awe of the rainbows that arrive after a summer storm across our enchanted valley .... Detached Guest House Apt on 100 Secluded Acres

As a family vacation home since 1978, we finally moved to Warren full time in 2015 and built this guest house / detached garage apartment so family & friends could stay too. The home, off a paved road, is situated on 100 acres in a wooded meadow adjacent to the Green Mountain National Forest. While totally secluded, we are mere minutes to town, ski resorts, swim holes, hiking, biking, golf and the great area restaurants. About this Space Our cozy Studio Retreat is nestled in the woods on the 2nd floor of our detached garage, 5 min outside the charming village of Bristol. Bristol has several very good restaurants, shops, an art gallery and a library. You'll find hiking, biking trails and swimming. Middlebury is 15 min away and offers art galleries, breweries, a winery, shops, restaurants, hiking, skiing and more. Burlington is 45 min away, Sugarbush & Mad River Glen ski areas are just 30 min away. Lots to do!

15 minutes from Vergennes and Middlebury! The Little Red House is located on our family's 5.5-acre property, far enough from our house for you to have privacy. The room and bathroom make up half of the building's main level.
