Private getaway on the shore of Lake Geneva outside Lausanne

Apartment on the ground floor of a chalet inhabited by the owners. Very well appointed, pretty and convenient. The environment is very quiet, in a cul-de-sac, with a magnificent view of the mountains and the meadow right in front with the horses. Ideal for couple with a child. Hiking trails right next door. And also nice little touches from the owners. We had a lovely stay at this place!

Really nothing to say, very welcoming host, kind and who does not hesitate to share information to make the most of the city of Annecy, activities, restaurants...etc. The apartment was very clean, very quiet and we have everything we need. Thank you and see you soon.

The house is rather unusual - tall and thin - but very cleverly designed with the sitting room and two of the bedrooms with fabulous views the lake. It’s only 100 yards down to the lake where we swam every day. Talloire village is about 3kms away We all agreed it was a lovely house and we would definitely stay there again.

Very appreciable short stay. I liked the presence of air conditioning with the high temperatures, it was cool in the rooms even in the mezzanine. The two beaches below the village are very uncrowded and the peaceful calm of the village is a stone's throw from Switzerland by bike.

We had a great time, very comfortable beds, everything perfect. Very useful coffee machine and kettle, with everything you need to use them. Very convenient parking space and lake, restaurants and funicular less than 10 minutes from home. We will definitely return, also because we felt welcomed with care by Stephanie, who was always very helpful with advice.

We stayed many places on this trip but by far Marie Christine’s has been one of our best stays. She is a delight and so accommodating. From bringing us breakfast every morning to giving great suggestions on places to visit, we were never bored and even had a chance to relax. I would highly recommend her place to anyone staying in the area.

Annie’s place was perfect for our stay near Montreux! Bigger than I expected based on the photos, so it was nice to spread out with our group of 6. My kids loved the dart board and those views from the balconies can’t be beat. Annie was so sweet and easy to communicate with. Her little touches made for the best few days!

I had a very lovely time in Montreux at Gwendoline’s apartment. I can say that this has been my best Airbnb stay so far. The apartment is so beautifully done, spacious enough for two people. It has a balcony and a lake view which is so pretty. It is just 10 mins away from the city centre so very convenient to go see all the attractions. I would highly recommend this apartment if you’re in the area.

We had a great stay at Julie's place, who gave us a great welcome. The place is decorated with taste. The apartment is very functional. Restaurants and activities are nearby, the lake is right next door!!! Evian is a very pleasant city 2 steps from Switzerland. Everything was perfect! We recommend it!

The views of Lake Geneva from the house are absolutely stunning. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped, making it easy to cook meals. Overall, a peaceful and beautiful stay!

This small, comfortable and stylish apartment is just across the road from the beautiful Lake Leman - you can watch the world go by from the balcony. The apartment is also close to the historic town centre, with its stunning buildings and it is great for public transport links too. We didn't have a car and found travelling around easy. Perfect for bars and restaurants too! A fabulous place in lovely Evian-Les- Baines,

Walking into Catherine’s apartment was such a treat. It is an oasis of style and elegance. The bonus is that it is a supremely comfortable and well set up apartment in a brilliant location for exploring Annecy. A perfect combination. It’s a truly special place and I feel so fortunate to have stayed there.

Beautiful little apartment, very well furnished with a superb unobstructed view of the lake and the pretty terrace to enjoy it!!! The big highlight! For calm, refrain... a lot of traffic, even early on Sunday morning.

Check in was easy but the instructions said to use a key and the lockbox was empty. I ended up just being able to push open both doors to get inside. Shower head blew off the hose when I turned on the shower, but I reattached it and used lower water pressure to shower. Upper shower head is not connected, seemingly intentionally. Trash can is on the balcony to reduce stink, but the lid was broken. Host extremely good at communicating, very clear instructions, helpful.

Michelle offers a very pleasant place to live in, close to the beach in a very quiet neighborhood. The accommodation is described, small but well equipped and very functional. In good weather, you have to take advantage of the sunny terrace of the garden. We had a very pleasant stay in Saint-Jorioz and, although we did meet our hosts, the communication was clear and very cordial. Michelle has offered games for children, bikes for walks and is very attentive to her tenants. Annecy is beautiful but also all the small villages around the lake. We particularly recommend the beach/pool of Saint Jorioz, within walking distance!

The stay with Claudine was awesome, super nice and accommodating hosts! Location was great and everything needed nearby Accommodation was very clean and simple. I'd love to do it again!!

Berenice’s house was exactly what we were looking for in Annecy. The house is beautifully decorated , only 10’ walk away from the beach. Bright and spacious rooms in a peaceful location, perfect for those who are looking for a relaxing place where to feel home. Berenice is a fantastic host, she gave clear instructions, was very responsive and accomodate our needs. the team is lovely. the listing is good. the campsite is peaceful.. attention the city of water is closed until All Saints' Day. the very small downside: we rented our bed linen and towels, we would have liked the possibility of having 1 bathroom mat.

A wonderful house with a homely atmosphere, rich in amenities and equipment and good spacious rooms. charming dining area on a lovely terrace in the garden, all surrounded by lush nature on all sides and the lake a stone's throw away. There is great calm around the house. The area offers plenty of opportunities for entertainment and activities. The host is very welcoming and helpful. We would very much like to return.
