Holiday houses in Abercynon

We had a pleasant stay at this Airbnb. The property was cosy, clean, and modern,with some nice touches like the soaps provided with the towels. The outdoor space was a good addition, and the location was convenient, with a day out only 30 minutes away (Pen Y Fan and Four Waterfalls Walk). The blackout blinds helped ensure a comfortable night's sleep. Overall we had a great stay and felt right at home! --- Let me know if this works or if you'd like further changes.

Looking for a place for my wife and I get away for the night, I wanted something right on the beach and with a hot tub and the Beach Barn had so much more. Paddle boards, pool table, cinema projector, barbecue, stunning garden. We completely lucked out with the weather as well. Kitchen was beautiful and the decor inside was gorgeous (too good to have been done by a man according to my wife - sorry Austin!) We spent most of the time in the garden and hot tub (perfectly hot for the chilly March weather). Indian and pub 2 minutes walk away - we ate the Indian and the food was beautiful. Host Austin was so responsive and helpful, we didn’t have any issues at all however but felt that if we did he would be there instantly to help. An absolute A++++++ to stay and will def be staying again.

It was the perfect cosy cottage to spend Christmas together as a family gathering from Dorset, Gloucester and locally. Thank you!

Amazing place for children, the outdoor space is magical and so much for them to do. Beautiful surroundings and the hosts were lovely. A few things in the house were a bit wonky but overall a great stay.

A beautiful little place, in a beautiful little spot. We found a cute welcome basket on the table with a welcome pack and snacks. It’s very clean and tidy, with lovely decor. A good selection of additional amenities; great selection of books & games! The hot tub was a fantastic addition too! The garden area was very secure, which was a relief as we had our dog with us - he loved the place too! Lots to do, not too far of a drive to get to so many different places! The hosts were lovely, welcoming us as we arrived & gave clear instructions on how to find the property. I would highly recommend this little hideaway, and will definitely book again if we come back to the area! Thank you Gemma & Roly! :)

Absolutely lovely property in a great village - perfect for a weekend away. Easy to get to lots of walking locations also!

We used the rustic cabin as our base from where to go to different hikes and villages. After a long day out, the cabin was the perfect peaceful and quiet place to chill. We didn't use all the appliances but the kitchen is very well equipped with a rice steamer, air fryer, toaster, microwave... Everything you need in a short stay. The crown of the room though, is that reclinable leather sofa in front of the fireplace... That felt so hygge!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Alison’s place! It was all as described, cosy, clean & tidy. Beautiful surroundings with lots of walks and lovely restaurants. Alison was very lovely and there to greet us upon arrival and check out. Would definitely recommend for a weekend getaway!
