Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. If you enjoy peace and quiet, and a environment engrossed in nature away from the hustle and bustle of the city, the Sateh Eco lodge is for you. Each lodge has it's own bathroom and king size bed. With one double sized family room which has a extra single bed and a cot, for that small young family. Hosted by me Sara, a Gambian who is always here to take on any tours or guide you around our hospitable village, which is on our beautiful coast.

Traditional round hut @ Par's Eco Camp

Jallo Kurundingoto (“small mahogany forest”) eco camp is a unique place where you can experience Gambian farmlife. It is located in an untouched forest on the outskirts of Nyonfelleh. Our camp is surrounded by a beautiful and healthy ecosystem that is home to many plant and bird species. We have plenty of hammocks around, and lots of fruit trees. The camp has 3 huts. There is a shared outside space with a fireplace where you can hangout and enjoy traditional Gambian meals and herbal teas.

KASA MANSA – KASA Hibiscus – Direct beach access

The house is located in a park with trees and flowers, fenced, of one hectare and a half, 15 minutes walk from the beach and the heart of the village by small roads, in a residential area. The house has all the comforts and attentive staff, with a caretaker installed in his own house at the entrance of the property and a cook who will prepare typical Senegalese dishes. The garden is home to many colourful birds, as well as a chicken coop and two friendly dogs.

A 15-minute walk on shady paths leads to the beach or the village. The round house is in its own garden, you are completely undisturbed there. It is completely tiled, clean, has mosquito protection on windows, doors and beds, running water and solar power. An outdoor staircase leads to the beautiful, shady roof terrace. The house is good for solo travelers, couples, and families. Long-term prices on request. Transfer from/to Banjul Airport can be organized.

Forest bungalow, near town&beach

Enjoy the tranquility of the forest, just a 10-minute walk from Abene's main street and 20 minutes from the ocean. The newly renovated bungalow is solar-powered with two wells, offering a simple, traditional design and basic amenities typical of rural Senegal. It's not a luxury hotel, but secure with locking doors. You may encounter small geckos and hear local sounds—drums, distant cooking, or radios—adding to the authentic rural experience.

3 traditional huts 2 minutes from the sea

Simple but well maintained rooms, a two-minute walk from the sea and with a view of a beautiful lake, hundreds of birds, and the possibility of seeing crocodiles (depending on the season). A little piece of heaven, very quiet. A few meters on the beach you will find a small bar with deckchairs and drinks. Nene and Aliou will also offer you good traditional dishes in a warm and family atmosphere. The toilet is outside the bedrooms.
