Gitschenen is an alpine village inhabited year-round at 1530 meters above sea level and belongs to the municipality of Isenthal. Isenthal has everything to offer, from the Urirotstock glacier to the beach on the clear Urnersee. Many kilometers of hiking trails invite you to hike and immerse yourself in nature.

For over 20 years, we have welcomed visitors to Le Bout-du-Pont who wish to experience a night in the straw, pitch their tent on the banks of the Doubs, or find a comfortable mattress and shower after a hike. And as of 2020, we are offering accommodation in our newly renovated farmhouse, Le Cras to visitors who wish to stay longer to enjoy our beautiful region.
