Mit dem NO.8 spreche ich alle diejenigen an, welche auf der Suche sind nach der etwas spezielleren Unterkunft, dafür aber nicht ein vermögen bezahlen möchten und doch eine zentrale Lage und gepflegtes Design schätzen. Durch die moderne Gästeküche, hast du die Möglichkeit auch mal selbst etwas zu kochen. Diese Möglichkeit dürfte insbesondere von Familien geschätzt werden. Bis bald im NO.8

Twin room

The Pension is a cosy, old, family hotel high in the Alps only reachable by cable car. We have kept the character and style of the old Swiss mountain hotel (including low ceilings) featuring the history of the building and the village. Gimmelwald itself is car free and world famous as an example of a traditional farming village, some of the buildings are 400 years old. The Pension is a place of peace. Gimmelwald is the perfect escape from the rush of modern life, the ultimate getaway.

Spannort "Family Plus" with SelfCheck-In & kitchen

The traditional Spannort - Your family-home with common kitchen and Self Check-In is located right in the centre of Engelberg, close to the train station, free shuttle-bus to the lifts, sightseeing and shops. The perfectly equipped common kitchens, the separated children playroom and sitting area in the 1th floor are inviting all guest to use for free. The house has been freshly renovated in 2022 and all rooms have its own balcony, free WiFi, TV and Check-In by our own hotel-app.

The Swiss border can be easily reached on foot within 5 minutes, and downtown Lörrach can be easily reached by bus, which stops directly in front of the house. The Rosengärtli with the beautiful lake view room is very close to Lake Thun. So the perfect starting point for excursions in the Bernese Highlands. The room has a small balcony on the lake side with beautiful views of Lake Thun and the church. The room price includes a wonderful breakfast with regional specialties. In 10 minutes you can reach Interlaken by train or car, in 30 minutes you can reach Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen or Adelboden.

It is equipped with a double bed (1.6m), bedside table and television, bathroom with shower, toilet and hairdryer.
