Holiday rentals with a fireplace in 1st arrondissement

Nice spacious pool house with modern feel.The crocodile (statue) in the floor is a cool feature and the area is super nicely located at the river Marne with lots of walking and cycling space. Playground and little cafe in the park within a few hundred metres. Very convenient for travel into Paris by RER. Bakeries and supermarkets all in walking distance. You stay on owners property which is just stunning and has parking too. Friendly hosts that are very responsive.

Agnes was an amazing host. She met us to let us in and give us a quick tour. She was very responsive throughout the stay. We absolutely loved the flat and did NOT want to leave! It is very comfortable and the amount of history and character in it is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. There are plenty of stores and restaurants in walking distance and it’s in a very peaceful area. An Uber into Paris was about 25 minutes which was very convenient for us. Coming from the United States, we compared the area to a storybook scene compared to the US being mostly a cheap Hollywood set quickly thrown together. 😂

We absolutely loved our three nights in Damien’s house! It’s so beautiful, full of gorgeous art and objects. The neighbourhood is also lovely. And it’s such a comfortable and well-appointed place to stay - we’d recommend it to anyone.

Very good location and cottage well independent of that of the owner. The ground floor is very cool, which is great on hot days. Well equipped. A little small but perfect for 1 or 2 people. The proximity of the train station on the RER A allows 2 round trips to Paris during the day without any problems. I will happily return

The stay was great. The accommodation was very private & beautiful. Jessica was also very easy to reach & extremely helpful. Everything was there, from dishes to pots to bed linen & washing machine. Even washing powder, if you don't have allergies, you could have used it. A small booklet in the living area also had a few tips on activities & explanations about the house. Unfortunately, only in French, but quickly translated with modern technology. Simply take a photo and have it translated from your mobile phone. The park is not very far, with views over Paris & the neighborhood is quite quiet. If you want to go to Paris, for example, to the Eiffel Tower, it takes almost an hour by bus and train. But the connection is good & cheap. For Germans, the loud heating when showering was rather unusual, because of the thin walls. But it didn't bother us. We felt very comfortable and are very satisfied.

We loved our stay with Olga! She greeted all of our party as we arrived and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We were travelling with our 8 month old and she had organised a cot, highchair and toys which we were not expecting! The apartment was lovely, had all the amenities we needed with a local supermarket and a couple of delicious bakeries nearby. Local transport was walking distance and took about 30-45mins to get to most of the main attractions. Olga was extremely helpful and assisted us with our itinerary and travel plans. We can’t wait to go back!

Pol’s place is a perfect oasis in the city. Peaceful, beautiful and private but in a great location. He was very responsive and helpful with tips for the house and the city. Would absolutely stay again

We spent three nights at Anne's place and loved the experience. Literally cannot think of a single complaint. The house was built in 1905 and it's clear that Anne has taken really good care of the place. Comfortable bedrooms and lots of spaces to hang out. The garden was beautiful. We would definitely return if we ever make it back to Paris!

We loved our stay at Louis’ apartment. The apartment itself is very well kept and everything is clean and beautiful. Lots of unique and interesting touches. The lift was extremely helpful with our luggage and it worked very well. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. Louis was an ideal host. He was extremely accommodating and provided us with prompt assistance whenever we needed it. The area around the apartment in the sixth is charming and anything you need is very close by. Wonderful cafés and restaurants and there is a supermarket just one block away. Almost everything is within walking distance, and Uber does come right to the apartment if necessary. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Louis’ apartment again.

Wonderful flat with superb views, really close to emblematic places in Montmartre, but at the same time really quiet, so it was possible to relax, rest and sleep peacefully. We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you very much, Raphäel, for sharing your lovely home with us travellers :) We felt at home and would certainly repeat our stay!

If you're looking for an authentic Parisian apartment experience that is elegant and comfortable - this is the place. City balcony on the front and the windows in the back open onto a park setting (ruins of a medieval gladiator area!) with trees and birds singing.

We loved our stay in this lively neighborhood. Olivier was a very responsive and friendly host! We traveled as a family of 4 with late teenage children and this was perfect for us—-vibrant night life and close to several metros. Great location to get everywhere! The place had everything we needed for a great stay. We especially loved the bathrooms. We would definitely recommend this property and would gladly stay here in the future.

This studio was perfect for two travelers visiting for a few days. The location is absolutely perfect. All the sites we wanted to visit were within walking distance, or accessible via the metro stop steps away from the door. The grocery store across the street provided our evening snacks and wine, and the cafe below was our source of morning espresso. The little yellow boulangerie just out the door to the left met all our pastry needs. In addition to the excellent location, the studio itself was wonderful. It was spotlessly clean, which can be a challenge in older buildings. And the pictures don’t do justice to the view. We never drew the curtains, and felt immersed! There were some reviewers with concerns about noise, but our experience was that it was a very quiet place. In fact, after a long day of sightseeing and being in crowds, we found it to be a wonderful respite. Overall it was a fantastic little studio for two travelers, and I would stay again! Very nice, clean apartment in a nice neighborhood close to transit lines and the Eiffel Tower. Augustin and Allan were communicative, friendly, and helpful. The Wifi had an outage and did not work for most of our stay, unfortunately, but Augustin / Allan were very proactive in trying to help and find a solution. Would recommend this stay!

The place was beautiful! While the photos look great, the place turned out to be even better. Cosy and well stocked, no worries about the essentials. The location is also perfect, walkable distance to many of the attractions and shopping spots. Katherine and Jean-Charles were also lovely hosts who took the time on a weekend to receive us. In terms of cost, we initially wanted to stay at a hotel but finding one in this location for a family of 4 was very expensive. This place was certainly cost effective, given the time and money saved from having to travel to the various attractions if you stayed further away. Highly recommended!

A view of the countryside on one side, a sensational view of Paris from the terrace and in between a cozy little apartment. We felt very comfortable and, thanks to Montmartre, we came back fitter with the numerous stairs.

Great place to stay with our Family of 9. All you need is there. Close to the train station to Paris center.

This place was very nice and easily accommodated our party of 11. The host even made room for an additional person. They also met us at the property and gave us a personal tour of the house. They were both very friendly and made themselves available to us. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing place, very well equipped, good beds, modern kitchen and nice host, quick to answer

A bright spacious place to stay as a jade with a private garden, an island of tranquility, really 25 minutes from the heart of Paris. We spent 6 nights in the house with my retired parents and my 4 year old toddler. The hospitality and helpfulness of his family brought a smile to our face, we met at any time during the stay. The 3 bedrooms are more than enough, the kitchen is well equipped, the salt and pepper spices. The baths are clean, the bigger one is extremely spacious, the tub is almost a pool for the toddler. The mattress is very soft with more tests. The breakfast is 5 minutes away from the accommodation (Boulangerie, Patisserie, supermarket and the farmer's market on Thursday). Parkolas on the adjacent street is free. The host's dog is friendly, sometimes it passes through the fenced garden, but it didn't bother us, the child loved the dog very much. TV, Netflix, YouTube, the couch is a toddler's favorite. I recommend it to those who like peace and quiet. I couldn't bring any specifics. We're back!

Very good accommodation, very nicely decorated with the canvas of Jouy (wallpaper, cushion...) very well equipped. Very nice welcome by the manager. We had a great time with the family. I recommend it.

Traveling to Paris for the Summer Olympics was a bucket list event, and finding a place to accommodate six adults comfortably would have its challenges. We lucked out and found this great house in Garches! There was ample space and the layout was great for three couples. Seonhee arranged our car service and met us upon arrival (with croissants and wine) to give us the house tour; she was so responsive before, during, and after our stay, including having her cleaning lady come in after the first week (for a fee)). She prepared instructions/directions and explained how the nearby bus and train systems worked which was very helpful. Even the grocery store is in walking distance making this a real prime location. The only drawback is to be mindful of the low ceilings on the top floor. If you're about 6' tall be aware to occasionally duck. Apart from that the house was great and we would definitely rent again.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. It is very quiet in a nice area. With Uber it takes about 30 minutes to the center of Paris. The house corresponds exactly to the description. It is very spacious, nice and cozy. We felt right at home. Communication with Matthieu has always worked smoothly. Overall a very good experience!

We had a wonderful stay at this house in France. The place is very spacious and clean, perfect for our big family. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is excellent, with easy access to transportation, grocery stores, and shops. The host was incredibly helpful and accommodating, always making sure we had what we needed. Highly recommended!
