Beachfront holiday rental in Zakinthos

We had a wonderful time at this place in Zakynthos. The apartment is simply furnished, but equipped with everything you need on vacation – functional, clean and very cozy. Just right to unwind and feel comfortable. The location is quiet and ideal for anyone seeking relaxation. Nearby are two small, authentic restaurants that we enjoyed very much – delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere. A small highlight is also the quiet beach nearby – perfect for relaxing, swimming or just enjoying the view. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful – always responsive and with great tips for the area. You feel welcome straight away. We highly recommend this place and would come back any time. We had a great time here. We enjoyed the view and silence at the house. Our son hat great fun playing at the beach, watching fish and crabs between the rocks. Being able to use the facilities (pool, super market, restaurant, bar, playground) of the neighboring camping site was very convenient. The interior is not super fancy, but pretty and functional with everything you need for a family holiday. The host, Soula, was very helpful and responsive and is not far away if necessary. She greeted us us with fruit, homemade tzatziki and cooled water so we felt at home right away. Thank you for the great time, Soula!

very nice place with what you need. Chris is very responsive and helps you with what you need the terrace is wonderfull and there's lot of shadow during the day. also beautifil sunset from terrace very clean appartment comfortable beds, rooms big enough the kitchine has what you need for cooking something fast there is a bbq which we used it several times - very useful there's a pool with free acces the beach is 2' away you have all you need nearby - supermarket, lots of taverns, rent a car

We had a wonderful time at Nadia's Studio. We were a family of 3 adults and a kid and Nadia made sure to support us in every possible way to ensure that we spend a beautiful holiday. We never experienced a host that was so helpful and that offered us such a warm hospitality. The house where the studios are is very nice, with private terraces for each studio and a beautiful shared garden with hammocks at the shade of olive trees. The studio itself had everything we needed and was perfectly clean. Additionally, the location is very good and only around 5 min by car to the nicest beach in the island, easily accessible. Nadia had also great recommendations to places to visit and allowed us to spend a beautiful holiday. Definitely the best host we've met so far. A full 100% recommendation.

We really enjoyed our time with Nicole. She was super flexible, nice and responded quickly. The apartment was as in the photos and perfect for our stay. We also rented a quad to see some of the island, and Nicole also helped us quickly. The beach can be reached on foot in a minute, but we would also recommend visiting other beaches, for example Cameo Island, which is only about 15 minutes' walk away and offers a great beach (€5 entrance but absolutely worth it). We can only share positive experiences with the accommodation and Nicole, happy to come back!

The apartment was great with an absolutely beautiful view of the bay. Waking up to the most beautiful sunrise was a gift. Thank you and we hope to return in the future!

We absolutely LOVED staying here with Antonis & his lovely wife. There were many reasons we chose to stay here over a big hotel but the main reasons were 1) the location is absolute beach front & 2) the reviews of the hosts being so wonderful. We were not disappointed! The location was very private, quiet & safe. The hosts only rent out 2 of the 4 cottages in Airbnb & save the other 2 for family when they visit. So the massive patio full of sun loungers was practically always empty & we could make ourselves at home everyday. The room was bigger than what we expected but as seen in the photos- very basic. Having said that- it has everything you need because you literally only use the room to sleep! The surroundings are so gorgeous that you rarely go inside! We were made to feel like family- from driving us to the supermarket, inflating the kids floats for them to bringing us fresh fruits & home baked goods. It was difficult to leave & we'll certainly be back. We struck Airbnb gold here!

A very good apartments with the sea as the main dish. The whispers of the sea, in addition to a fantastic view will take care of you during your stay. We stayed off-season and the surrounding were extremely quite.

The premises was perfect for 4 adults. Bedrooms were roomy and beds comfortable. Kitchen was spacious with all amenities. Property area including pool facilities beautiful and well maintained. View from balcony spectacular. Dionysis was friendly and responsive. Located to city and beaches was perfect. Definitely would consider it again.

We had a brilliant stay at the Tasos Villas bungalow. The place & pool area were stunning, exactly like the photos & although close to both beach and Kalamaki centre, it was peaceful and private. We could only book 5 days here of our week in Zakynthos due to an existing booking, so were moving on for the last two nights, but we didn’t want to leave & could have stayed much longer. The welcome pack really was very welcome as we hadn’t had chance to shop & were not hiring a car until the last few days. The hosts had thought of everything, the kitchen is well equipped but big supermarkets are close to the airport (Lidl) & Zakynthos town (mymarket) so if you want to take advantage of the awesome gas BBQ & outdoor dining area you definitely need to drive to one of these to get proper evening meal supplies, as we found the local shops in Kalamaki are not stocked for this, so we ate out every night. Many thanks to Sinead & Tasos for being friendly & helpful & sharing this beautiful place.

One of the best airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. Matched the description and photos perfectly, everything was so clean, the shower was lovely and warm with good pressure. Pool was clean and a lovely addition. The place was right by the sea, you could see it from the balcony, it was so nice to be able to pop out and be in the sea in less than two minutes. We felt so at home here, all our needs were catered to, we were able to check in early and also leave our bags there all day after we had checked out. We’re both so sad to be leaving but will definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Zante, I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

We had the most wonderful stay at Villa Kanonia . Diana was so friendly and helpful via messages before we arrived and also during our stay. She helped us with everything we needed and nothing was too much trouble. She organised a brilliant boat trip, set up the BBQ as well as local recommendations. She was always on the other end of a message if needed and she made us feel so at home. The house was beautiful , we loved the garden and all the olive trees. We especially loved the walk through the woods up to a stunning look put point over the sea only 15 minutes from the house. We found some amazing places to eat within walking distance, and highly recommend 'Dopias house ' for their fresh Barracuda and Olives ! We would love to come back. i was able to spend a quality week in this accommodation as described. we had rented a car and it is possible to park on site. if some guides indicate that it is possible to get around on foot or by bus, we recommend having a vehicle. it is possible to rent it within 10 minutes walk from the accommodation. we will be happy to come back.

We were attending a wedding at The Balcony Hotel so this villla was perfect as it's no more than a 30 second walk! Myreen was so attentive, arranging airport transfers and accommodating a slightly later check out for us before we arrived. We were picked up by a friendly driver at the airport who took us safely to the villa. The villa was easy to access and felt homely as soon as we walked in. Lovely furnishings and greek styling throughout. It was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. We'd been left several bottles of water, eggs, fruit juice, milk, fruit all of which was handy. We were able to make ourselves breakfast without having to rush out to the local shop the next morning. It's a short walk to the beach, nearest shop and only a little further to some excellent restaurants. The pool area is lovely and a perfect place for a refreshing dip. The balcony was a lovely spot to sit and have a drink and admire the sea views! Highly recommended a stay here!

I really enjoyed this place. The landlords were so super nice and helpful. It was also no problem at all that I got a visit at short notice. The apartment was also cleaned and you received a really great welcome package at the beginning. I felt very comfortable throughout and enjoyed the stay very much.

Xenofon’s villa was the most incredible place to spend our honeymoon! The location was ideal, as it was only a short drive to several restaurants and look-out points. During our stay, we frequently interacted with Spiros, who was always kind and extremely helpful providing us with recommendations for some of the best traditional Greek food and a boat tour. This was an unforgettable trip and we look forward to returning.

Great location conveniently located within walking distance of downtown. Property and amenities were as advertised, and apartment had a high-end feel. Very roomy bathroom and shower as well. Host was extremely responsive when a minor issue came up, which was solved immediately. Two things to be aware of: the spiral staircase leading to the upstairs bedroom and balcony was tight and may not be ideal for someone with limited mobility; and the mattresses were extremely firm. Overall, a great experience. Thanks very much!

If you 're looking for a nice and cozy place to stay near to your private beach and not far from some bars and restaurants, then this is the place to go! Julie is very friendly and takes phantastic care of all her guests. We highly recommend it!

Katerina and her brother Antonis were very friendly and helpful. Katerina even offered us to be allowed to enter the accommodation earlier without us having to ask. The value for money was also great. We personally did not find the beach in front of the door quite as beautiful, but very beautiful beaches nearby were great to reach. We were completely satisfied and would be happy to come back! :)

Our stay was just perfect from start to finish. The room was very clean and new. The location is great, the center and the beach are only a few minutes away on foot. The hosts take care of the guests very warmly and with a lot of effort. The atmosphere is very familiar, and the restaurant in the lower area is highly recommended, in terms of quality, first class. We like to come back 👍

Staying at Marios' was great. You have 2 terraces where you can stay. From both you can look directly at the sea. Just steps from the house is direct access to a small pebble beach, where we never met a soul. Within walking distance you will find very good restaurants and shopping facilities are also easily accessible on foot. Downstairs in the house lives an elderly couple and Sofia. If there were problems, there was always someone there to help right away. Our car didn't start one morning, so they even drove us to our appointment at the harbor. Thanks again for that! We were completely satisfied and would come back any time.

We had a wonderful stay! You have so much privacy, just nature and the sea. We recovered so well and enjoyed the view of the sea from the terrace and even from the bed. You fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the waves. We lacked nothing. In a few minutes you can reach some taverns/restaurants by car. The private access to the sea is perfect and the water is wonderfully clear. It was a super relaxing stay. The owner is super friendly and helpful.

We had such a wonderful time at Mare Nostrum! The hosts were very kind, responsive, friendly and helpful with recommendations and anything else we needed. We were even welcomed with freshly made cake, which was delicious! The location itself is like a small paradise with beautiful flowers all around, olive trees and the sea shore is right in your front yard. The house was very clean and tidy and had everything you would need, from appliances to mosquito repellent. I would definitely visit again!
