The first word one utters when you enter the place is Wow. The apartment is an entire floor which has two living room, two bedroom with attached bathroom, kitchen and a balcony. The entire place is huge and very spacious. The place is very well decorated. The The place is not in the centre of Namchi. It is slightly uphill where there is no noise, ideal for a holiday in peace. The host Mr Rinzing was very helpful, he had to leave the day we reached but ensured that we had a great stay at Namchi. There are two helpers to help you around who does make your stay very comfortable. I specially thanks Buddha who was always there for any help. She arrange bornfire on both the nights at the private balcony. The kitchen is very well equipped. The place is the best i have seen. A place which changes your mood. A place where we learn how a beautiful home can be so rejuvenating.

I stayed at this homestay for three nights, and it was a delightful experience. The view from the balcony is simply breathtaking, and the hospitality of the people here is heartwarming. The food is a standout feature—organic and delicious. However, I did encounter a few minor issues. The common bathroom can be a bit inconvenient, and the charger jack is located quite low on the wall. It would be much more convenient if it were placed beside the bed for easier access. Additionally, there are extra charges for using the kitchen, which I believe should be clearly mentioned in the instructions provided to guests. Despite these small issues, everything else was great. I would highly recommend this homestay for its beautiful views, warm hospitality, and excellent food.

We had a 3 night stay at Sanjay's place and though it was pretty warm at Kalimpong, the house was cool, covered with greenery all around. If you like places which are away from the hustle and bustle, tucked within greenery, then this is the place to go. Food was homely and delicious. My 10 year old son was busy througout the stay playing in the adjoining areas in the property. We were travelling with old parents and my wife was recovering from a fractured foot so when we navigated through the flight of stairs to reach to our cottage, they did not seem happy. But all of that was gone the next days as they enjoyed all the walk they could get amidst the purity of nature. Sanjay and his staff are super responsive and always there with a smile. So in short, if you are looking at this property and reading my review, my suggestion would be to go ahead and book.

Beautiful and cozy stay. The place was very clean.Loved the drawing room,the large window provides a nice view and in clear days you can see Kanchenjungha too. There were quite a nice collection of books. The property has a few dogs which was certainly a plus point for me 🤗 Check-in and checkout process was hassle free. Kitchen was well equipped, complimentary coffee,tea,milk,noodles,chips were provided. I would highly recommend this place for a quiet and peaceful getaway.

I stayed with my family and it was exactly how I wanted it to be. The house is extremely well maintained and very clean with a fully functional kitchen. The balcony had stunning views. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and responsive. Loved the overall experience and would definitely go back to visit this place again 🥰

This place was a beautiful blend of traditional and modern aspects. You get to stay in a beautiful countryside in traditional Sikkimese tribal cottages, go hiking in the nearby village, but also unwind in a restobar with great food and live music. The host, the staff and even the other guests made us feel so warm and welcome. We strongly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience a blissful rural life.

We spent a couple of days at this serene retreat and absolutely loved it! Our ever-smiling host, Lama Pasang, was incredibly helpful. The presence of the super-friendly dogs was a much-appreciated bonus. While local food options were limited, they were delicious and very reasonably priced. We would love to visit again — preferably for a longer stay!

His hospitality was exceptional; he greeted me warmly and provided me with detailed information about the area, suggesting the best local spots to visit. The homestay itself was cozy, clean, and offered beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The rooms were well-maintained, with comfortable bedding and all the necessary amenities. The homemade meals prepared by Bhasker and his family were delicious, with a mix of traditional Nepali and Bengali dishes. It truly felt like a home away from home. What stood out the most was Bhasker’s genuine kindness and personal touch. He was always available to help with any requests Overall, if you’re looking for a warm, welcoming, and authentic experience in Darjeeling, I highly recommend staying at Bhasker’s homestay.

We had a relaxing and rejuvenating stay at Izom Him Homestay. The host was very responsive and caring, the Manager Raj was equally responsible and prompt. The food served by Pronita was homely and had amazing flavours. Only downside is the approach to the homestay which our host had well informed us. I wish the roads are mended pretty soon for easy access. We faced no difficulties in the commute as Raj had helped us with pick and drop services. Thank you for having us.
