Great location for exploring Grass Valley, easy walking distance to restaurants, theaters, and downtown. Very nice inside remodel, great place to relax and enjoy friends.

This place was absolutely perfect for us. It’s walking distance to the town square and tucked away just off the main road so you are away from the noise. There’s also a beautiful walking path out the back gate. The hosts were also very responsive and friendly. I have no complaints!

the little house was perfect for us and our dog. In town, but above the main hub. The house is as described. the charm of the "old bones", in the floor, doors, and simple decor, was a good fit. We enjoyed walking everywhere and taking our pup with us. A very dog friendly town.

I traveled with my parents to visit a relative nearby. We needed a quiet, comfortable place and this place exceeded our expectations. Everything we needed was there, check in was easy, and the layout of the house was so comfortable. Neighborhood was quiet (and beautiful) & we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We had an amazing stay! Beautiful property with access to various trails and especially the water stream. Peaceful environment and ample space for our group of 9 adults, 4 kids and a pet! We loved the deck and luckily weather was good during the last few days of 2024. Nevada City downtown is a short drive. We are already planning for another stay during summer months here. Alicia is a great host - very responsive and her instructions were clear.

We had such a great stay! The property was perfect for our family getaway—our kids especially loved the trampoline and the hot tub (they barely wanted to come inside!). Our Doberman, Lincoln, had the best time playing fetch in the large open space—it was such a treat to find a spot that’s truly dog-friendly. Melissa was a delightful host—super responsive and thoughtful. She even set up a fun scavenger hunt for the kids to find hidden gnomes around the property, which they absolutely loved. It’s little touches like that that made our stay really special. We’d love to come back again. Highly recommend!

We had a great time for my birthday day weekend and Lorri was able to make a few accommodations to make our trip feel like an home. Beautiful surroundings and accommodating sleeping and bathroom arrangements. I appreciate the nespresso! Lots of towels and comfortable places to sit and hang out and eat. Pool was so wonderful. To have a pool to one’s self is so great! We will return!

Stayed for a few days as I was attending my sons graduation in the nearby town. It was perfect for our group with plenty of room inside and out. The backyard was relaxing with the pool, lounge furniture and trees. I would definitely stay here again.

Omgosh this place is so cute. I came in town to visit family by myself and I felt very safe. I used the pool everyday. I will for sure be back. Very nice and helpful host.

We had a wonderful stay. The pool and hot tub were amazing. There was plenty of room for all of us. The pots and pans were a really nice brand.

Lovely and intimate home, squeaky clean with all the amenities you could need and touch of that rustic charm you go to the Sierras for. The Casita allows for privacy (and keeping snorers apart) while functioning as a nice little hangout and sunroom in its own right. Rebecca is an excellent and responsive host as well - you can trust her recommendations. I went for the peace and quiet and got exactly what I was looking for. Spent a wonderful few days reading and working on crafting hobbies with the music of raindrops and the warmth of the gas stove heater. Being able to see neighboring properties kept it from feeling isolated, while the pitch black nights and silence helped feel remote. I would advise planning your meals and bringing supplies, since weather can make getting into town a bit harder, but if you don't, the Mother Truckers convenience store has everything you could need, from fresh produce to organic ice cream.

We had the most amazing 2 day adventure at Sheila and Dave's place. From the moment we drove up to see dozens of beautiful alpacas we knew we were in the right place for us. the cozy loft is lovely, with a comfy bed, snacks, a bottle of local wine, water and good coffee we felt at home. We had free range to sip wine by the pond and listen to frogs and have breakfast overlooking the trees it was so special. Sheila gave us a tour and we got to feed, pet and walk with the alpacas and the next day we brought them food to the pasture and gave them extra loves before reluctantly hitting the road. peaceful, tranquil, friendly and soul soothing sums it up. We can't wait to visit again!!!

We stayed for a show down the road and the convenience was great. Terrence is an excellent host who communicates very well. Be ready for Some morning crowing from neighborhood chickens. The fenced yard was pet friendly

My time with Susan was exactly what I needed. After leaving a stressful job that took a toll on my mental health, I needed to get away from the city. Being at the farm with my dog in tow was exactly what my soul needed. Thank you to Susan for the wonderful hospitality!

This is my second stay at the historic mansion. I wrote a glowing review on my previous stay and our current stay did not disappoint. If you are looking for a high end AirBNB this is the place. Accommodations as in our prior visit were excellent, beddings were very comfortable and the home itself is well laid out and roomy. Sue our host was kind enough to provide plenty of firewood so we could avail ourselves to the outdoor fire pit where we were able to roast marshmallows for the young ones. Sue also contacted me and advised the home was ready for check in at an earlier time making our check in much more convenient. We look forward to staying here again on our next visit to Yuba City.

We had an incredible time at Jessica and Steve's home! Our dog had the best time running around exploring the ranch and playing with their sweet dog Miley, who also taught our dog to swim in the beautiful pond they have on the property! We picked cherries and strawberries from the garden and enjoyed the homestead life deeply for the couple of days we were there. Also had the best sleep of my life on that heavenly soft bed! The house is a 1 bedroom house with a microkitchen. There is a griddle and BBQ you can use to cook outdoors! We also loved that there is a sauna and a cold plunge pool. Highly recommend this property, we would definitely go again!

The cabin was such an amazing get away. The location is perfect — 10 min from the Yuba and Nevada City. The cabin is cozy but with everything you could need. And the sauna, tub, and outdoor shower made it feel like we had our own private spa. Will definitely be back again!

Julie was an exceptional host! She kindly offered a tour of her farm, which we absolutely loved. This cozy, countryside retreat, nestled along quiet rural roads, is surrounded by stunning farmland. The tiny house matched the description perfectly. We spent relaxing afternoon in the gazebo, enjoying views of the pond and watching goats and sheep roam. The kitchen was well-equipped with ample tableware, a fridge, microwave, electric kettle, and delightful surprise snacks. The bathroom was stocked with high-quality towels, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Overall, this peaceful tiny house offers a serene escape with calming surroundings. We will definetely return to Tiny House in Grass Valley.
