We had such a great stay! The property was perfect for our family getaway—our kids especially loved the trampoline and the hot tub (they barely wanted to come inside!). Our Doberman, Lincoln, had the best time playing fetch in the large open space—it was such a treat to find a spot that’s truly dog-friendly. Melissa was a delightful host—super responsive and thoughtful. She even set up a fun scavenger hunt for the kids to find hidden gnomes around the property, which they absolutely loved. It’s little touches like that that made our stay really special. We’d love to come back again. Highly recommend!

Had such a wonderful, beautiful and relaxing stay! Communication was great! The house is great, and the land is magnificent truly a stunning place! The tranquility and the essence of this place is unmatched, it was everything I needed and more!

We had such a wonderful stay at Clare's home. The hosue is comfortable and the pool was perfect for beating the summer heat! The door to the pool is off the family rooom area but it is easily closable for keeping young kids away from teh pool if needed. The house is tastefully decorated with some homey additions like books and toys. We found it difficult to choose where to sit-- outside on the front porch or our by the pool lounge area. Although the house is not close enough to town to walk the location is very central and wooded. The view out the back is really wonderful. This is a great place for a family or anyone looking for an authentic Nevada City stay. Highly recommend!

Great place in a peaceful neighborhood!

We had the most wonderful time in Marilyn and David's gorgeous home. The home is very large and accommodated our large group perfectly with plenty of large gathering spaces and private areas as well. The pool and hot tub are awesome. It even has a phonograph which was awesome and we enjoyed and danced to!! The entire property has a panoramic view of the foothills and is breathtaking and perfect for star gazing. Highly recommend!! Thanks so much for everything!!! The Wheelers

Absolutely perfect place for our stay. From spacious rooms to the outstanding views. Kitchen was well equipped and lovely. The main floor was easily accessible from the side door on the driveway side. Loved all the eclectic decorative touches.

We had 3 couples from our family and 6 children, ranging from 2 to 11. There was plenty of room for all and we had a great visit. The kids loved the pool. The adults liked it also. This home is up to date and we'll equipped. We would definitely come here again. The host was extremely helpful and great to work with.

We loved that the place had everything that you could need. From cooking basics, lots of coffee, good shampoo/conditioner in the bathroom and more-it felt like the details had been paid attention to. Beds were super comfortable. The house is cute, but not cluttered—we appreciated that there weren’t a bunch of breakable items to worry about with a toddler. The rooms were spacious, we had plenty of room for our baby’s pack n play for him to sleep in. Nice view of the hillside from the table in the back yard. We plan to rerun the next time we are in the area.

Catherine stands out as a host who feels a special connection to the home she shares on Airbnb. She clearly loves the place and is invested in the best possible outcome for everyone. It's more than just a business to her. We did some cooking and baking in the kitchen and felt wowed by how well stocked the kitchen is. It had everything we needed and then some. The home maintains the charm of its history, which we loved. Downtown Grass Valley is so, so nice, and it's just a short walk from A Victorian Rose. I especially appreciated Catherine's recommendation of Caroline's Cafe. That's our kind of cafe, top to bottom. We visited at least four times! Grass Valley itself is such a lovely destination. Five stars all around!

This was the perfect place for a group. We celebrated Christmas in the 4 bed 2 bath country home. We loved the fire pit and natural surroundings. Everything was spotless and high quality. Huge laundry room and most of the rooms are large. Oscar’s hospitality was excellent and we couldn’t be happier. A good value if you want to get away in the Northern California countryside.

5 stars all around. Katie and her property are top notch! We will be returning for the duration of our time in the area.

Clean, quiet and comfortable. Safe neighborhood, easy check in. Excellent for 2 people. Easy to get to the airport.

First off, our host was so kind and accommodating and we so appreciated her. We stayed at Reenas home for a wedding in Browns Valley. Her home was in a beautiful area of Yuba City. The house was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Beautiful backyard . Beds were so comfortable. I wish we’d had more time in her house but with wedding festivities we just weren’t able to. We’d definitely like to stay here again.

The place was amazing and a really great value. John was very responsive and helpful.

We came for the Canyons Endurance run, and couldn’t be happier with the location. Spacious, clean, peaceful, with everything you need to cook at home if you want to (including nearby grocery store) The hot tub was nice after the race! If you come to Auburn/Meadow Vista go ahead and stay here

Visted for a work event in Sacramento and Yuba City.... this house was at a great location! Only 5 minute drive from downtown Yuba City and 45 minute easy and beautiful drive to Sacramento. In a residential area that feels like home, very quiet and peacful. Beds were comfortable, everything was clean and welcoming. We will be staying again in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous property with our large family. There were plenty of activities for the kids and the host was incredibly accommodating, hospitable, and easy to reach. A couple of things to note: there is a large wooden staircase separating the house which made it a bit tricky with the real little ones and one of the full-size beds is in an open space without a door. These weren’t issues for us but might be worth considering for others. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and we’re so grateful to the host for their kindness and attentiveness!

This was the first AirBnB we stayed in where the photos and description were exactly what we got! We were incredibly impressed with Leah’s home. The details and interior design, had us feeling like we were in a model home (better than our own which made us feel extra special)! The size was perfect for our family, plus our pup. The hot tub was delightful. The trails at the bottom of the hill were the chef’s kiss to the perfect stay. Truly unforgettable. Lots of stairs and steep hillsides, so not the easiest for anyone elderly. There was not a microwave, but the appliances and extra touches that Leah had in her home were worth missing the convenience of quickly heating something up. We truly loved this home and the experience so so so much (and so did our pup)!

The home was exactly as pictured, VERY clean and cared for, the welcome garden flowers were such a sweet touch, and plenty of blankets/towels as needed. They have every kitchen need, plus the store down the street is the cutest and has anything you may forget. My family and I enjoyed a peaceful get away, highly recommend and would stay again. Thank you!

The house was lovely and well-appointed. it was a little tricky to find arriving after dark. It was also not easy to get from the driveway to the front door in the dark. The motion detector light doesn't stay on long enough to make it all the way. We found the accommodations comfortable and Lucy the cat was awesome. Quite the hostess! It was not noted in the listing, but it was communicated before we arrived that the house is shoes off. We were able to work with that but would have preferred it be called out in the home listing.
