Idyllic small house in the city center

You'll be in your own peace, but close to everything when you stay in this atmospheric little house. From the street, there is access through a small terrace into the house. The apartment has a small dining area and kitchen, a bathroom and a separate living room. The bed is a 140 cm wide double bed. In addition, a sofa bed (70/140*200 cm) can be spread out. If requested, a mattress can be arranged for a fifth person. The apartment has underfloor heating and an air heat pump to cool down in the summer heat. The local store is almost around the corner and the market square is about 250 m away.

The cottage is in a great location by the sea. The yard is sheltered, and there is grass for yard games, for example. From the cottage you can go directly to the rocks to admire the sea and from the rocks you can swim in calm weather. There is also a small beach very close by, where even children can swim. In addition, about a kilometer away there is a large, long and beautiful sandy beach. In summer and autumn, you will find wonderful hiking trails, great berry forests and sea buckthorn bushes on the beach. In winter, Pyhäjoki and Kalajoki have great ski trails.

Our accommodation "Mummola" is the old main building of our farm in the courtyard of the farm in Mehtäkylä. Our accommodation has been renovated to modern standards in 2013, preserving the atmosphere of an old-time granny. Our property is located in a quiet side village of Kalajoki, 17 km from the center of Kalajoki and 25 km from Hiekkasärki. Our yard is home to rabbits, chickens, cats, dogs, horses and ponies. A trampoline, a pedal car and a sandbox are also available for guests. There is a barbecue canopy in the yard with a gas grill.
