Built in 1934, Yokosuka Tenku is a traditional Japanese house on a hill with over 90 years of history and a Showa-era atmosphere. It is a hideaway that retains the tranquillity and elegance characteristic of Japan, and it is said that it was the home of a naval officer before the war. At the top of the long staircase, there is the sea breeze, the chirping of birds, the greenery of the garden, and at night, the starry sky. Please enjoy a relaxing stay while experiencing the "everyday life of Showa-era Japan" that you cannot find in a hotel. Approximately 10 minutes on foot from Keikyu Yokosuka Chuo Station.There are about 50 steps at the end, so we recommend that you come with light luggage. Check-in is self-service using a key box. Please enjoy a carefree and relaxed stay in a quiet old house. We remodeled this beachfront house ourselves. It is a 30-second walk to the beach and has a Showa-era feel. The name of the facility ”Hayamana" is a combination of Hayama (Hayama) and Mana (Soul). It's not luxurious by any means, but it has a nostalgic, soothing atmosphere. The property also has a stand-up paddle rental, and beginners can attend a school. The owner is a certified professional of the PSA (Professional SUP Association), so that you can fully enjoy the activities of the sea with peace of mind. There is also a surprisingly unknown trail entrance surrounded by the greenery of Hayama, 5 minutes away on foot. Conveniently located within walking distance to various restaurants, cafes, a supermarket, drug store, coin laundry, etc.
