High Country Outlook B&B: A Private Adults Retreat

The B&B is only a short distance from town and there’s a picturesque walk/bike trail at the bottom of our street that meanders along the creek into town and beyond. There are world-class mountain bike trails within 4kms of our door as well as the rail trail between Osbournes Flat and Beechworth - a distance of about 40kms one way - or 22kms to Beechworth from our door. We offer road bikes for hire (ladies & gents) for $20 per bike. Our pool is perfect to cool down or simply relax on the daybed.

Wee Varrich nestles within a delightful landscape; a fusion of carefully sculptured plantings of trees, shrubs, hedges, lawns and vines, against the power of the Stanley State Forest. Situated on the edges of Stanley village, the entrance to Varrich is a winding path through tall eucalypts. The property is situated on 2.49 hectares on land that was mined during the Gold rush era of the 1850’s. Wee Varrich is a fully self-contained cottage adjacent to the main house and secluded by plantings.
