My family and I had a lovely stay at Norma’s place. The neighborhood was peaceful and Cocal beach is absolutely stunning. We spent lots of time eating meals and hanging on the verandas. Would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a quiet trip away from the bustle of the San Juan.

We had a wonderful stay at Jose and Omayra’s Airbnb in Punta Santiago. The space is a private sublet apartment located at the rear of their main home, and it was incredibly clean, comfortable, and well-kept. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was much appreciated after hot days of exploring. Jose and Omayra were warm and welcoming hosts who took the time to clearly explain the house rules and how everything worked, which made settling in easy. They also provided a helpful guidebook full of local tourist attractions and were full of great recommendations for things to see and do. The property features several shared spaces like a cozy front patio and a charming coffee bar—perfect for relaxing in the morning. The location is peaceful and set in the countryside, yet conveniently located near several key attractions like El Yunque National Forest, El Río Hippie, and the Humacao Nature Reserve. Second visit to this incredible property and, again, perfect in every way. Safe, secluded neighborhood on an absolutely beautiful beach. The front porch is the highlight - sunrise over the ocean, shady and cool breezes in the afternoon. The house is immaculately maintained and spotlessly clean. It's also so well supplied that it feels like our own home - little things like extra trash bags, paper towels, spices, first aid kit make traveling effortless. I can only hope that future guests will treat this family vacation home with love and respect so we can continue to visit.

A easy drive from San Juan and you could stay on top of a mountain over overlooking some of the most beautiful parts of the island! Very unique Airbnb experience for a one bedroom, considering you get the whole outdoor patio, outdoor bar and hammocks really set this place apart. We couldn’t believe how beautiful the beach was even the walk down There is so beautiful. The week we stayed there the water never went out, but if it does, it’s very easy to turn on the back up water tank. Same thing goes with the electricity we also never lost electricity, but if it does go out, it’s very easy to switch to the generator. Whenever we had questions, Carlos called us right back or always answered honestly it’s just an amazing stay for my wife and I. The town has everything you need and there’s so many towns nearby to go check out especially considering it’s such a easy drive to anywhere from yabucoa.
