Holiday houses in Wykoff

We enjoyed our stay at Jaymi’s place. We have family in Rochester so we weren’t at the house a lot, just to sleep and take showers. It was perfect for my family of four plus my parents. There were enough beds and towels for all. When we arrived back home I was met with a message that seemed accusatory. Jaymi asked if we unplugged the WIFI and disabled the electric lock to the front door. We didn’t do either. No one ever connected to WiFi and we would never disable a lock on someone else’s home, or even know how to. When we would lock the front door while leaving there was a red flashing battery on the top, we did take notice of it because it was as if the battery was going dead, we even joked about it locking us out. I’m positive that was the issue, but was taken aback at the insinuation. Jaymi said that the internet provider was doing updates, but made no mention of the lock again. I want others to know that if you see an issue, communicate it, so you aren’t seen as the culprit.

Clean and neat house in family neighborhood. Fenced in backyard which is nice because we had kids that wanted to play in snow. Easy drive to Mayo Clinic for appointments

The bungalow was great. Barb let us have a family gathering to celebrate my mother-in-law's 85th birthday. The kitchen had everything needed to cook a family meal. Also, there was a high chair, which came in handy for our grandbaby. The location was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. If you love nature...this is a place for you.

Mindy was great from the start of the Airbnb and to the end! She was very responsive when we asked for local pizza recommendations in town and confirmed our questions without hesitation even when she was trying to enjoy her own Vacation! She was so nice and her home is amazing! Enjoyed the hot tub and how spacious her whole hole layout was. Would love to stay again here with my girlfriends.

We really enjoyed our overnight stay at the cottage . The space was well appointed and very clean. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit as well. The road noise was a bit bothersome when we were outdoors but once inside it wasn’t as noticeable. The proximity to La Crosse made it easy for dinner out .

We had a wonderful seasonal stay at Carol’s. We loved seeing the many animals on this working farm and spending time in the countryside. Carol provided yummy local snacks, including her own homemade salsa and pickles. They were great! Carol kindly offered to give us a tour of their land, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Can’t say enough good things about Carol’s hospitality and our stay.

The place was exactly what I was hoping for. We were having a celebration of life and the kitchen enabled me to make all the food with no problem. It was furnished with all the cooking appliances, pot & pan & utensils that I needed. It was a very cute and cozy house. It was close the our event. Would definitely stay there again

Our group are repeat visitors to Prairie Song Farm. Great home, great location in the Driftless fishing area of NE Iowa. Abundant wildlife viewing in a private and very quiet setting. Ketchen, bathes and bedrooms are all very clean, well-stocked, and organized Hosts were very responsive to our issues and requests.
