Holiday rentals with lake access in Woolwich

Beautiful home! My family of two adults and three teens was very comfortable here. Everything was new, clean and well kept. The kitchen was fully equipped with every appliance you could need, and a pantry of staples as well. The bedrooms were very comfortable, with ensuite bathrooms for everyone, and we appreciated the many thoughtful little touches like a clothes steamer, shampoo and conditioner in the showers, Xbox in the family room etc. My youngest loved the backyard trampoline and there is a nice outside sitting area as well. The location was ideal for day trips to Niagara Falls, Stratford and Canada's Wonderland and Oakville itself is lovely (Bronte, downtown Oakville for shopping etc). Neeraj was super helpful and responded quickly when we had questions. Overall highly recommend!

This was our home away from home through renovations and cannot be more thankful for Helena and Matt allowing us to use their home. We had two extensions and the team was more than accommodating - communication was quick and easy! Thank you so much again for opening your home to us! Happy Holidays!

We stayed at Kathryn and Gus’s place for a month and really loved it. It’s an entire house surrounded by nature. The property overlooks a small lake near a hiking trail. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. Kathryn and Gus were great hosts. They were friendly, responsive, and had great recommendations for restaurants and places to see. We enjoyed relaxing on the cozy couch in front of the fireplace. We would love to come back again!

We were in town for my uncles funeral. My cousin told us to stay at a hotel, but with 2 men and 1 woman, it would have been like being in a tin can. Not only were we in a peaceful and lovely area, we had everything - privacy and peace of mind. We had space to be in different places but in the same place. This gave my dad peace of mind, and my brother the ability to stay up at watch tv or games into the night. I was able to work in peace and we had 2 bathrooms! Such a wonderful stay that there are too few words.

Stay was very nice, great front porch and backyard relaxation. Very clean, easy to find and very close to some nice restaurants. For me only thing I wish I would have brought was my own pillow, but that typical. Great stay

My brother and I had an amazing stay at Alice’s place. From the moment we arrived, she was incredibly welcoming and kind, making us feel right at home. The unit was spacious, clean, and exactly as described, with plenty of room to relax. The breathtaking lake view was a highlight—we loved waking up to it every morning! Another fun bonus was the ping pong table, which we really enjoyed during our downtime. Alice’s hospitality went above and beyond, and we truly appreciated her warmth and generosity throughout our stay. If you're looking for a great place with a wonderful host, this is it. Pristine and immaculate place, conveniently located not far from the highway. Comfortable bed and couches, endless entertainment on the television. Complimentary snacks were a nice touch, kitchen had everything needed to cook and grocery store wasn’t far. Lots of food places not far away, as well as a short drive to the lake and Port Credit. Host was helpful and checked up to make sure everything was fine, would highly recommend staying here.

We had a great stay at Alfonso’s place. It was a little bit cold for our liking but as soon as I messaged Alfonso, the temperature was adjusted. Great little one bedroom apartment, exactly as described in the pictures. Check-in and check-out was very smooth because they provided very detailed instructions. It is a basement so you hear people walking above you but everyone was very respectful of the quiet hours so it wasn’t disruptive at all. It’s about a 20-minute drive from the Laurier University so the area itself is very quiet and residential which was exactly what we were looking for. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay at Bob's place. It was ideal for two couples. We walked to all the theaters and to local restaurants. The walk by the lake is lovely and the place was comfortable and very clean. Bob was a very helpful host. We had a great stay!

Wonderful, quirky place full of art with fantastic lake views. Eric was super friendly and responsive and gave us a great recommendation for breakfast!

My stay here was amazing. Everything was exactually as described. From a fully equipped kitchen, to the close proximity to the train station. My children loved the video games and the board games. I found the guidebook in the home to be especially helpful. The on-Street parking was close to the home and was free. The house rules and checking out instructions were both clear and reasonable. Simon had excellent communication, and proactively sent several messages both before the rental and while we were there to ensure everything went smoothly. I have no complaints whatsoever.

The location is central.. we were in town for a family emergency and appreciated the flexibility with the check in.. there is coffee right in the room and Tim Hortons also right across the street. Great unit, comfortable beds! Although we didn’t use the common areas, I checked them out and there are 2 outdoor saunas, wonderful lounge area and outdoor high top bar with bbqs.. Hope to be back sometime and be able to enjoy! Thx you so much! Host was very accommodating and very quick to answer communication!

We travel to Stratford every year and have done so for about 30 years. We have stayed in a variety of accommodations over the years! We prefer Air BnBs over hotels, and because we travel in a group (we were 8), this location matched our needs perfectly. We like to park the car when we arrive and not use it again until we leave (Stratford is fantastically walkable) -- no problem! We like to try different restaurants -- the location is perfect for that (and for attending theatre). We're close family, but we also like some alone time -- with four bedrooms for 8 people, this apartment offered that! The apartment was large, open and bright with basic amenities suitable for our 2 night stay. The beds were comfortable, and the shared areas were roomy enough for us to gather. The hosts were amazingly responsive -- they provided detailed and accurate info ahead of time, and quickly answered our questions.

The Lake Suite at the Henry House was charming, as well as cozy and relaxing. The decor is lovely and is exactly as shown online. Many restaurants, cafes, taverns, etc. are located in the downtown area which is within walking distance so it is not always necessary to have to rely on your vehicle. A theater is even right around the corner! The parking option onsite (if available) is a wonderful add-on. The host, Brett, is very responsive and it is evident that he wants all of his guests to have a very enjoyable visit. I have family in the Stratford area and love having my own cozy space when visiting them. I am sure that I will return to the Henry House … it is a special treat for me and a wonderful place to stay!! Marsha H. Darien, Illinois, USA

Tasha was amazing and extremely responsive. Anytime there were any small issues she was on top of it right away. She always gave us suggestions to ensure that we were having a good time and using all the tools she had. The location did not disappoint. Absolutely stunning waterfront. I highly recommend this property as a great vacation spot. Another note Tasha had everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and on the property. Five stars!!

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage! It was neat, clean, and spacious, with a stunning view of the lake. The swimming pool was well-maintained and added to the relaxing experience. This was a great stay and a great host. Beautiful property, great view, great pool, and the hot tub was very nice. Awesome place to get away in Canada or from the United States as it’s a short drive from Buffalo. Would definitely recommend anyone looking for a nice house with a view. We will be going back next year!

we had some issues with checking as the door code wasn't working. Also had issues with Thermostat not working and spend 1 night cold below 14 degree. They tried best to get a technician but it was Good Friday and I understand it's hard to get hold off someone that time. Someone came in next day evening and fixed this. The location is a great community with Tim and Foodland 5 minutes access. Back yard and Game area is well setup but lacks Cleanliness in the Game area. Again it's a REALLY WELL set! Back yard is amazing to play with your if you bring a Frisbee or Ball. Slightly squeaky considering how old the building is but we'll considerate for the guest. inside house was VERY CLEAN! couldve added a small bottle of oil but every other essentials were there including the bedding/towel/kitchen stuffs etc. overall it's a 4.5 out of 5 for considering distance from Toronto, Price,Host etc

We spent our days in the busy city and needed a quiet, peaceful place to unwind each evening. This was exactly what we needed - and our gracious host patiently addressed all of our concerns, and answered all of our questions. My wife and I especially enjoyed sitting by the private pond and watching the geese.

We stayed for a week looking for peace and relaxation and that is exactly what we got at Curtis' place! From the moment we walked in until the time we left we loved every minute. Everything was as good or better than the photos showed. The kitchen is well-appointed with everything needs to meal delicious meals. The bathrooms were squeaky clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. Wi-fi worked well and we were able to stream services like Netflix, Crave, Prime, etc. We were the last cottage at the end of the road so it felt very private. We stayed in winter so the lake wasn't accessible but looks like it would be fun in summer! Curtis was an amazing host. He checked in with us throughout our stay to ensure everything was alright. We are already looking at booking another stay.

We had a wonderful and peaceful stay. It was very large and comfortable. Had everything we needed for the weekend. I would definitely go back again.
