This space is perfect and in a beautiful building north of Wilshire, in a peaceful pocket of Santa Monica. Having frequented the heart of downtown SM many times, this location is my new favorite — walkable, safe, and friendly. The building is historic and stunning, with a lovely courtyard, lobby, and library with seating areas. Check-in was a breeze, and there are late-night managers on duty/security which made me feel safe as a solo traveler, especially when getting home after an evening out. Towels are plush and clean, bed was very comfortable, and the ceiling fans do a great job so I didn’t miss the fact that there’s no AC! It’s worth noting that the windows of this space face a row of other units and a walkway with a good deal of foot traffic, meaning shades need to be kept closed for any privacy since it is ground floor. If you’re like me and spend your time out enjoying the city, this isn’t an issue! Kitchen was spotless with great appliances. Fantastic stay!

Clean, tidy and well-maintained apartment with amazing skyline views, exactly as described! Perfect location on a relatively safe street in dt. Keys pickup process was a bit confusing but manageable. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at Rochelle’s place! The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. Rochelle was an attentive and communicative host, making sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The neighborhood felt safe and welcoming, with great local spots nearby. I appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the home that made it feel warm and inviting. I would absolutely recommend staying here and hope to return in the future!

Julie and Steven’s spot was a perfect, peaceful getaway. Surrounded by the Santa Monica mountains, it’s only a short ride into town, making it easy to spend the day at the beach and come back to the quiet in the evening. Very clean and great location. It was very relaxing to sit on the lounge chairs in the morning. We saw dolphins and were able to walk down to the pier. It is more of a hotel feel than an apartment, but definitely worth being right on the water. The host was very communicative and pleasant.

Excellent host and this place is in a very good location with garage parking. We got very clear and detailed check in instructions with maps and everything. Also the host is very responsive with communication. The inside of house is very clean, beautiful, and professionally decorated. Highly recommended!

Had a great stay here! Looks just like the pictures, and was squeaky clean. Lots of thoughtful touches--Brita filter full of cold water in the fridge, extra towels, yoga mat and blocks in the closet, and a ton of paid streaming services on the TV. Didn't do much cooking but the kitchen seemed well stocked. And the location is unparalleled, you can see the Pier out the window and 3rd Street Promenade is blocks away. Heads Up: Most of the furniture is low profile though--lower to the ground--which could be an issue for older people or people with knee problems. But both the bed and couch were super comfortable. And the host was easy to reach and responsive, usually within the hour. Jonathan's place is an excellent alternative to the hotels on Ocean Avenue.

Wendy’s place was exactly as described—spotlessly clean, beautifully appointed, and very comfortable. The bed was super cozy, and the location was ideal for our visit to Burbank. Wendy was an outstanding host: very responsive and easy to communicate with. We’ll absolutely stay here again when visiting our son. Highly recommend!

Had a great time at Stefania Place. The Apartment is very nice, new , with great amenities in the perfect location , close to everything.. Stefania was very responsive, making sure I’m enjoying my stay. The instructions for the check in were very detailed and easy. Will book again !

I had a great stay at Venice! The room is convenient, cosy and kept us cool in the heat! Location is right by the beach and has a lovely little view. Can be a bit of noise in the morning from a garage nearby but honestly did not bother me. Communication and check-in information was nice and clear and I thought the place was very well priced for the location! Couldn’t have asked for more!

Very clean, well maintained apartment right in the heart of Hollywood. It's the perfect base to explore all the attractions, great local restaurants and bars, and easy access to public transportation. The secure off street parking is a definite selling point, as well.

This was a fantastic place for my partner and I to wind down after a month long trip. Quiet, easy parking, washing machine and dryer (came home to Aus with 3/4 of our washing already sorted), pretty good location to all of the LA activities and very clean and comfortable. Vee was fantastic and very responsive, even though the place was immaculate and we had no issues to report anyway. The actual address is a little different to what is listed on the property but Vee was very upfront about this and checked the address with us was okay before confirming our stay. We really appreciated this! I will be recommending this place to any of our friends and family who are traveling and staying in LA.

I stayed here for a quick weekend trip for a concert at the Hollywood Bowl. This was probably the most convenient location I’ve had for solo female travel. - Travel convenience without a car. Down the street from Hollywood and Vine train. Traveled to my concert without a hitch. Lyfts took less than 4 minutes max of waiting time. - A few steps from a CVS if you forget travel essentials. - I felt pretty safe. Though the neighborhood is full of characters (Hollywood!) the street was well lit at night. The building is restricted access, and the front door has less foot traffic relative to the rest of the block. - Apartment was clean and comfy, looks exactly like the photos. Hosts had clear instructions on where lights and temp control were in the apartment. Bonus points for stable WiFi. The hosts were quick tor respond to any questions I had via chat, which were few since their check in instructions were super clear. Overall, it was a fantastic weekend getaway.

Great stay! Well decorated, clean, and conveniently located walking-distance to everything we needed. A bidet is always a huge plus in my book. Would stay again and highly recommend.

Neal's apartment felt like a second home from the moment my son and I walked in! This welcoming one-bedroom is filled with beautiful plants (as a huge Pothos fan, I was in heaven!), and you can tell Neal has put thoughtful details into every corner of his humble and pristine space. The location is fantastic - quiet, safe neighborhood that felt perfect for a mother-son getaway. Everything was spotlessly clean and Neal was an excellent host, making sure we checked in safely and had everything we needed. My only tiny suggestion would be adding a few more spices to the kitchen - a little garlic salt, Adobo, or paprika never hurt anybody! 😊 But honestly, that's being picky because everything else was perfect. Fun coincidence: Back in 2017 when I worked in pharma, one of my clients was Kite, whose HQ is right around the way from Neal's place. Small world! We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely return. Thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us, Neal!

We want to sincerely thank Nills for an amazing stay! The loft was exactly as pictured—clean, comfortable, and fully equipped, making it feel like a true home away from home. The only small recommendation would be to bring your own detergent if you plan to do laundry during your stay. The location is perfect—right in the heart of downtown LA, with everything within walking distance. Nills was an outstanding host, always proactive and maintaining open communication with my partner and me. From guiding us to the unit, to providing a list of great local shops and restaurants, he was always available if we had any questions or needed assistance. Overall, Nills made our experience seamless and enjoyable. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

This was a perfect spot for my husband, daughter and I to sight see Southern California. The location was incredibly safe and grocery stores and restaurants were walkable.

Wow, what an incredible two days! This unit truly exceeded my expectations. It had everything I needed and so much more. The beauty of the canyon left me in awe, and there was something magical about savoring breakfast while soaking in that breathtaking morning view. I felt completely at peace, especially since I didn’t come across anyone else during my stay—such a perfect sense of privacy! I can’t express how much I’d love to return and relive this wonderful experience. Thank you Mona and Daniel for everything!

I had a great stay at Alisa’s place! She was super friendly, responsive, and helpful in her communications - including replying to my booking inquiry really fast which made the booking process very smooth and easy. The apartment was exactly as shown in the photos - and actually felt even more spacious in person - and everything was clean and just as described. The building had great facilities, especially the pool area. The neighborhood was peaceful and lovely, right across the street from an outdoor mall with lots of shops and restaurants, plus two grocery stores within walking distance. The marina was also nearby and made for a great evening walk. Very convenient access to LAX airport too. Highly recommend!

Stay was great. Felt right at home. Make sure you follow the check in details correctly. Felt a little uneasy at first but became comfortable once you settle in. Great location. Walking distance to LA live. Will return!

This apartment is exactly as pictured and we had such a nice time enjoying the view and the space. The beds were cozy and comfy. Everything is clean and well presented. We only stayed one night but everyone wished we could have stayed longer. As others mentioned it’s a little wonky checking in because you have to say you’re on a guest list as opposed to an Airbnb. Then you have to get the keys to the garage from the room to go back and park but it’s a minor inconvenience at most.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was spacious, in a fantastic location, and offered so many great amenities. Communication with the host was excellent — very responsive and helpful throughout. Highly recommend!
