This private upstairs one bedroom apartment with queen size bed in an older building is 600 square feet of living space. The futon in the living room makes up into a full size bed. It is in a quite north end of Meadville neighborhood has a separate entrance and separate one car garage parking space. My house is off of Interstate Hwy 79 between Interstates 90 and 80, 40 minutes south of Erie, PA and 90 minutes north of Pittsburgh. It is 4 blocks downhill from Allegheny College.

The timbers were sawed at a local hemlock mill. The exterior is made of boards we had milled from old pines along US Hwy 322. Even the stones we laid for the fireplace once splashed in a local creek.

Pollywog Point was a wonderful weekend escape. We were here for a soccer tournament so didn’t get to enjoy the space to the full extent due to weather and time but it was a dream. Private and Serene yet close enough to fantastic breweries and restaurants. We cannot wait to come back and spend more time!

Loved the cabin. Beautiful and peaceful. Only issue was the stairs in from the outside were high and made unloading/loading more difficult. Need a ramp or better staircase with railing all the way down.
