Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Wongarra

Had a great 2 nights here! Very spacious and comfortable. The fireplace was cosy and having heating in each bedroom was perfect. Hosts were very responsive to any questions I had. Definitely recommend this place if you’re staying in Lorne.

We had a great 2 night stay, it was perfect for 4 couples. We very much enjoyed sitting on the deck enjoying the views, being joined by a kookaburra and a cockatoo as well. Having 3 bathrooms was a bonus for getting ready for a wedding as we did, and sitting by the fire was a great way to end our days.

If you're looking for a tranquil escape, Coral Fern Retreat is it! The home is immaculately presented, and Barbara and Greg couldn't have been better hosts – their detailed instructions were so helpful. I can't recommend it enough and am already looking forward to my next visit!

Simon and Mella’s home was absolutely perfect for our family wedding weekend. The house was ideal for three families and our grandchildren loved the games and trampoline. The house well equipped and had everything (and more) than we could have asked for. The views were magnificent and the surrounds were so very peaceful. Time in the hammock and looking out to the ocean is a must if you stay at 180 Vista! Simon and Mella responded immediately to any questions l had and were extremely accommodating with check in times. Paul has a beautiful place in a walkable distance to local restaurants and a stunning beach. The house was clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay including fully equipped kitchen. We loved our stay and appreciated Paul's clear instructions for a smooth check-in process.

Stayed here for a girls GOW hiking weekend. Such a cosy cottage with beautiful outlook and warm wood fire - perfect place to come back to after a day of hiking. The little rainforest walks around the property were magical too. We didn’t want to leave..

The place was fantastic with all the amenities well provided. It was close to the Main Street with restaurants and cafes while remaining in a quiet part of the area. The kitchen is well stocked if you are cooking.

We had a wonderful stay at Cockatoo View! It was a beautiful space and offered a fantastic view!

We had a fantastic long weekend here, Lisa was an amazing host and the apartment was stunning and comfortable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The location is perfectly positioned to enjoy everything that Sorrento has to offer. The main street shops, restaurants and trendy hotels are merely 2 minutes walk away, not to mention the beach and ferry terminal. I highly recommend this property. Checking in was a breeze. Fabulous place! We had an amazing time and it's probably the best-equipped Airbnb we've ever stayed at. The attention to detail is impressive, with everything thoughtfully provided, from the cozy bedding to the well-stocked kitchen. The host truly goes above and beyond to make guests feel at home. The location was perfect too—close to town and beach but still peaceful and private. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and will definitely be back

Susan’s apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our getaway. It was the perfect location, close to the shops and restaurants but off the main strip so it is not noisy. Susan was very responsive, provided lots of information and even checked in with us as soon as the power went out (for a few seconds). The early check in and late check out were a bonus!

We had a great time at the Portarlington National Celtic festival over the June long weekend. To top this off our very comfortable accommodation was a highlight. The Hosts have put so much effort to make their place a home away from home and it shows with every thoughtful detail . Certainly would recommend to anyone wanting to stay and also explore the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula. Hopefully we can return for another luxury escape !! Rgds Margaret & Bob

Ben was an amazing host, really kind, thoughtful and pro active in getting information to us before we even thought of it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Avila. The house is very spacious and comfortably accommodated our large group. It had everything we needed to have a relaxing short break. The location is literally a short walk of 5 minutes to the beach. Summer was very easy to deal with and the instructions regarding the premises were clearly outlined in the house manual.

A hidden gem just outside Lorne where the only drama is deciding whether to have your wine in the hot tub or by the fire. Spoiler: we did both. Peaceful, cozy, and the perfect spot to live your best relaxed life.

We had a wonderful stay at Ria's place. The house is exactly like the photos, beautiful, luminous and well equiped. It has everything you need (even an office!). There were six of us (grandparents and 2 kids) and we had an amazing time. Ria was lovely to interact with and very responsive. We would love to come back! Thank you Ria!!

Biarritz is a beautiful, stylish villa in a peaceful garden setting and Sylvie is an excellent host, always so friendly, responsive and helpful. We were three generations staying for eleven nights after Xmas and the five bedrooms, spacious, bright, open plan living, kitchen, dining areas suited us perfectly. The new spa and sauna were a well used added bonus. Sylvie has ensured every room is so well equipped, with all we needed plus many extras and thoughtful touches that we have not seen in other houses, and all is of a high quality. This place is exactly what is advertised. What a great place! We walked into nice smells, warmth and a bottle chilled, nice touch Fran. The bed, the bath, the view! All stellar! I want that bed, bath and view all year round. Attention to detail was my biggest carry out. So many pump bottles with various creams and lotions. Luxury bathrobes. The bed again, it was next level. Fire place with everything you needed. Windows very clean, even the balcony wall glass. Gardens pretty, so pretty. Sofa big enough to lounge on. Kitchen with everything I needed, even quality plates and bowls. Single drawer dishwasher! Black out draw down blinds. The spa has candles. A local guide book that is actually helpful! 7min drive to town. Earth friendly products. I found this place to be the best place on Airbnb I’ve ever stayed. I could go on about their attention to detail. Fran was really attentive to anything I had to ask. We had zero issues and now have an Airbnb we’ll visit more. Thanks Fran.

We had a lovely start at Wisteria cottage. Everything was as expected and more. We were traveling with a child and toddler and were very comfortable during the stay. The children thoroughly enjoyed their time at the farm. The biggest highlight being the tractor tour of the farm and interacting with the animals are close quarters. The cottage was perfect in all aspects and had a homely feel about it. We would highly recommend it to anyone especially if you are traveling with children.
