🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We had the most perfect weekend getaway here! The house was exactly as described - clean, cozy, and beautifully styled with a relaxed boho vibe. The location is just magical, right by the lake with private access, kayaks ready to go, Hot tub and the most peaceful views.

Wait.. there is no option for 6 stars!?! Wow, where to begin!?! From check-in to check-out, our group had a fantastic time. Our host was super friendly and easy to connect with at all times. Our group had 8; 6 adults, a teen & a child. Everyone was entertained at all times from the karaoke machine, the games, the hot tub, the firepit, the kayaks & canoes, the swimming, and the stairway to haven, which was truly breathtaking taking!!! The town of Halliburton was a short 10 minutes away where we enjoyed some shopping, lunch & coffee. We were celebrating my parents 50th wedding anniversary; 78 & 73 years young and they rocked that staircase several times! We frequent Air B N Bs often and this is by far my new favourite. There is already talk of a return visit in the future. Highland Bliss is gourgeous, loaded with all the amenities, is spotless, super comfortable and my family is so thankful to Marcia for allowing us to visit her beautiful space and create lasting memories!

This place was beautiful and right on the water. We stayed for three nights and really enjoyed it. We had enough kayaks to have fun in the water. The location was very private and peaceful.

The kitchen was well-equipped, the common areas were great for hanging out, and we really appreciated the little touches that made it feel welcoming. The cottage was great! Perfect for a weekend out of the city, our group and I loved the entire experience. Janice was very helpful and even left a very sweet personal touch for our stay. Would definitely stay again.

Great cottage for larger groups! Enjoyed the variety of games provided on site. Huge yard for lots of space to play, Dock is secure and has some built in seating. Offers great views while standing around the fire. Walk to fire pit was further away from house then we liked (our only complaint). Bathrooms on each floor was a bonus. Beds on top floor are bigger then the pictures for the bedroom without the balcony. If you have larger group bring lots of bottled water. Signs for a Marina just before getting to the cottage offer ice, wood $10/bag, kindling, snacks, etc.

I stayed at Michael’s place in June 2025 with some friends for a weekend getaway, in total there were 6 adults and one dog. The location was super easy to find and matched the photos and description exactly. Michael’s instructions were very clear and we had no issues whatsoever getting in and set up. It was also so nice to have an earlier check-in time than other Airbnb’s I’ve stayed at (check-in was at 1pm). The place is incredibly well-stocked, we were beyond impressed with the provided amenities, any little thing we may have forgotten was provided for us. We enjoyed the bonfire and the jacuzzi tub in the evenings, and had no problem following the easy instructions provided. We immensely enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it for a small gathering of family or friends! We did also notice many little touches that would make a stay with children very comfortable. Thanks Mike for such a lovely stay!

This cottage was a fantastic place to stay. As described, it was right on the water, and the lake is nearly around three sides of the building. The kitchen was a chef's dream and very well stocked with every item we needed. All of the bedrooms were tidy and well appointed, and the beds comfortable with clean linens. Two full bathrooms were much needed with 7 guests staying at the house. The paddleboards and kayaks were in good condition, but we didn't get a chance to take them out due to the late May weather taking a large temperature dip. It was beautiful to sit out at night on the dock and look at the stars over the lake. There are a number of fairly close trails and conservation areas for hiking in Crowe Valley.

We had an amazing weekend celebrating my dad's 70th birthday at this beautiful, secluded property! Hershel was super friendly and communicative from booking through check-out, even giving us great local recommendations when we arrived early. The place was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed—towels, linens, kitchen and BBQ supplies, toiletries, WiFi, and even a TV (though we didn’t need it!). We loved the private river for fishing, the sauna, fire pit, trails, and the stunning views. The check-in guide and house manual were clear and helpful, making everything easy to navigate, and the check-out process was stress-free. A welcome bottle of wine was also such a thoughtful touch! There was so much to do in and around the property, and though we drove three hours to get there, we’d do it again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-equipped retreat surrounded by nature. Thank you Hershel and Tiferet for an unforgettable getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was so peaceful and quiet and private. It was beautiful to lay in bed and listen to the wildlife as we headed off to sleep. It was so cozy by the wood burning fireplace in the evening . The historical pieces that were included in the decor and the books about the history of the house were a nice touch. Highly recommend hiking at the Eagles Nest trail near by.

Had a great 3-day, 2-night cottage stay! The property was just as described—clean, peaceful, and well-equipped for a relaxing getaway. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Beautiful spot! Our group of 2 families with children/ teens enjoyed the lovely surroundings - including hot tub, fire pit and kayaks - as well as the indoor games and activities - ping pong, pool etc. Kids had so much to do that parents could just relax and enjoy!

We booked this cottage on a whim with virtually no notice to the owner who was flexible with our check-in making it worth our 1 night stay. The cottage is so spacious with lots of room to lounge, eat and sleep. It was clean and comfortable. The waterfront is the real MVP here - pristine water, pure sand, great doc and decks.

We stayed here for a few days after our wedding for our "mini-moon" vacation and had the best stay! The weather ended up being perfect for a few days of spending time outside and on the dock in this beautiful spot. Everything you could think of, they had ready for use. We really enjoyed our time here and can't wait to come back.

Great location… we had a chance to view the northern lights and the milky way. The place even offered a canoe, paddle boat and kayaks. Plenty of firewood was available as well. We had the perfect long weekend getaway.

The house is absolutey stunning. We all loved both the indoor and outdoor space. We loved all being able to be together and the space was really made for gatherings so if you are looking for that then look no further. Additionally, we loved the small touches like the pictures of how the house was built! The glass walls really make it a one of a kind experience. Aaron, the host, was great to communicate with! Only suggestion if you read this is to bring your bug spray!

I have stayed at over 130 AirBnBs, likely 40 of them cottages, and this may be my favourite. The effort and care put into making this property the ultimate lake experience is overwhelming. We didn't even have the chance to sit at every beautiful spot - there just weren't enough days! The beach - the dock - the lake fire pit - the hill fire pit - the deck fireplace - the gazebo with the full table and chairs - the perfect dining table overlooking the whole lake... And that's just outside. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the soaker tub sublime, and the main living room as cozy a spot as we've ever been. Our original AirBnB was not as advertised, and Tomek made his place available at 6 pm on a Friday night for the weekend. He didn't just save our weekend -- he made it better. I can't say enough good things. Book this spot. If you're looking for a cottage weekend relaxing outside, it might be the best I've ever seen. Thank you Tomek.

This was my second time staying at this cabin with my family, and it was once again such a great experience. The lake is beautiful and quiet and filled with nature and so many birds. It was peaceful and clean, and it was so easy to relax here. Definitely hope to come back in the future, this cabin has become one of my favourite places!

We had a wonderful stay at RAP Cottage. It was a spacious, well kept property with great amenities and clear instructions. There were no unexpected issues or surprises! Our kids had an amazing time on the lake and enjoyed the karaoke machine. The fire pit was a hit as well. Will definitely visit again.

We stayed at this lakeside cottage for two nights and had a fantastic experience. The cabin was well-equipped with everything we needed, and the rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The washrooms were clean,view from the cottage was beautiful— Angela was super helpful and responsive throughout our stay Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-maintained getaway.

My sister, mom and I had a lovely mini-break at Paul’s cottage. He was very quick to respond to any questions and very helpful and friendly. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. Loved the for dock especially at sunset time. Beds were very comfortable. The pull out couch is not super comfy but for two nights it was manageable. All in all we had a great time and would be happy to return.
