Lake house holiday rentals in Wolfgangsee Lake

Constanze's spacious lakeside home was a gem of a find! An idyllic location; gardens leading down to the jetty & lake ; amazing views across to mountains; excellent scenic walks to either end of the lake; train station 5 minutes walk away with regular, reliable service to Salzburg & elsewhere. We made the best use of this beautiful house & location & the wood burning stove was very much appreciated on the cooler evenings! Constanze was a great host, was there to meet & greet us & with excellent communication via phone too & we have no hesitation in recommending her lovely home.

Really lovely traditional Austrian Accomodation. Right in the centre of St Wolfgang. Easy to get to lots of places and very welcoming.

The host is very welcoming, the room is very close to the train station and bus stop, and it is very convenient to get around

A really great family getaway. The extremely spacious house is in an absolute premium location directly on Lake Mattsee. What a view. It's got everything you need. 2 bathrooms, kitchen with upscale amenities, pizza oven (Oh yeah! A real professional part!), BBQ in XXL format, sauna, fireplace, it's all there. Meganette, friendly and accommodating landlords. We'd love to come back anytime!! GREAT!!!

Excellent stay in peaceful village surrounded with mountains. Turquoise water lake is in a short walking distance. Olesja and her husband were extremely friendly and hospitable and all information about local attractions were provided. Very pleasant stay! Definitely will return to Hintersee on my next visit! In all of my travels, this by far has been one of the very best experiences. The wonderful hosts, Martin & Karin are the most responsive, hospitable, accommodating and friendly hosts I’ve ever dealt with. The house is a traditional style home fully equipped with all amenities. It’s spotlessly clean and situated in a peaceful street with amazing views of the mountains. Beautifully placed next to a lake, the house was all we needed for our stay. Christoph was very responsive and we highly recommend this cozy home!

The house is perfectly located. It is very near to lake Attersee and approximately 2km far from beautiful waterfall - Nixenfall. Also city Hallstatt which is very nice is approximately 35min. far by car. The house is very large, fully equiped, with garden with beautiful view on rocks around you. You have also private parking on the short road next to house. Anna and Ben had very quick response on our questions and were very nice. If you are looking for good starting point for your hikes or just house for resting from normal life and near to lake (approx. 1km), this is perfect choice.

Lovely house, in a lovely area !

Ingo and Barbara were pleasant and friendly, with willingness to give advices on possible trips in the surrounding. We could rely on them in case we would need anything to discuss. Equipment of the household was highly above standard. Even out of season is opened nearby restaurant. The whole stay was refreshing.

This is one of the nicest Airbnb properties that we have stayed it. It was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. Rouven gave us lots of helpful tips of places to visit which made our holiday better. The location was excellent for visiting Salzburg and the surrounding lakes. There was loads of space at the property for a family of 4 and the garden was lovely.

Bernhard was a very good and friendly host. The self-check-in worked smoothly. Bernhard was absolutely reliable for questions. The apartment exceeded our expectations, especially considering the size and is a great starting point for excursions towards Salzburg and the surrounding area. For visitors with smaller children, it is worth noting that the sleeping area is designed as a gallery. This can be seen from the photos, but we were kind of surprised - but definitely positive in our case. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked for our needs, we were also very pleased about the Nespresso coffee machine and corresponding capsules (guest gift). The accommodation was a good base for our wonderful holiday.

Christoph's accommodation is immaculate and as described in the photos. Communication with Christoph was very easy, as was the check-in. Very nice accommodation overall :)

Yagaweh, this is pure vacation and relaxation! A beautiful house in a beautiful place...secluded location, hikes from the front door, views of the lake, crazy sunsets and jealous three watching hikers ;) We had a great time and were lovingly looked after by the host all around. Thank you!

What a wonderful view around this apartment. The apartment definitely met our expectations. It was sparkling clean and everything we needed was present. Excellent base for day trips, mountain hiking, etc. Gerald and his wife are very nice and helpful people. Many thanks, we loved our stay with you. As far as we are concerned, recommended.

The communication with Sandra was wonderfully not to mention the really fantastic accommodation. We booked very spontaneously and yet everything worked out very well. Late check-in was possible, which is why we were already able to arrive at night. We were also very happy about the folder with activities in the area, because despite the unfortunately bad weather, we were able to make the most of the time. The house is very nicely built and well located - the treetop trail and summer toboggan run are a real recommendation. Also the walk-through room for us no problem, as the boys could sleep together as in a large room as in a large room and the girls downstairs had their own room. Comfortable, cozy house, fully equipped, an excellent choice for a large company. The ski resort is 20 minutes by car. Sandor is very attentive, always ready to help and answer questions. We really liked the wine cellar. It was nice to receive 2 bottles of wine as a welcome gift. Thank you very much Sandor, we recommend staying in your house
