We had a wonderful long weekend in this beautiful private setting with good friends. It could not have been better, location was fantastic and catching the train to Blackheath for the day and back to Sydney was an adventure and very easy. The jacuzzi was a big bonus after walking all day in the wilderness. The house is immaculate with a lovely large garden. We heard Wombats at night and lots of birds during the day, a real wee slice of paradise.

It’s a rare gem! Love at 1st sight. Close to nature, peaceful surroundings and beautiful landscape. 15min drive away to amenities. Host is kind and accommodating. The house is lovely, very clean and well maintained! We are a family of 4 and we really enjoyed our stay! Indoor is cosy and outdoor view is relaxing! Every evening we get sunset view and enjoyed looking at the stars. Definitely a great place to unwind!

Beautifully renovated, close to vineyards and amenities. Comfortable beds and lounge and very well equipped kitchen private backyard. Would thoroughly recommend if you are interested in visiting the hunter valley wine region.

We had an amazing stay. The house is absolutely beautiful and grand and furnished with intriguing period pieces that added a nice touch. It was comfortable and warm with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare our meals. Most important of all, it was very clean! It was a pleasure to stay. We were a group of four. We had a booking for Peats Bite for lunch. It was in a great location for that. It was very quiet and peaceful. Beautifully decorated. Lots of plates and platters to use. Well equipped. We played Jenga which was fun. Bring a book or fishing rods as there isn’t much to do but to chill out and relax. We used the Hawkesbury River Water Taxi to get there. Would stay again.

The cottage was beautiful, peaceful and quiet just like we hoped. Lisa and Ben were fantastic hosts, accommodating and friendly, they provided clear instructions and helpful information and allowed us to enjoy our time on our own and had the cottage perfectly clean and equipped with everything you would need for a peaceful retreat. Sofia and her crew were excellent host. The apartment was spacious, clean, and very close to everything in Darling Harbour. I would definitely stay again. Thank you for making my first Sydney trip memorable.

We had a fantastic stay at the Canyons Retreat: Denise gave us a great welcome and excellent local recommendations. The accommodation was exactly as described, not overly luxurious, it offered great comfort and charm, a retreat in the mountain. Outstanding lounge room, perfect for relaxing on rainy days and plenty of space. The kitchen was enough to cook a nice breakfast with a single burner, maybe not enough to cook a bigger meal. I would recommend this place for couples seeking privacy and connection to the bush. Thanks for having us!

We stayed here with our three daughters, over Easter 2025. What a gorgeous place, in the best location. Five minutes walk down to the bridge and Circular Quay, and only a few minutes walk to the Barangaroo harbour pool, a hidden gem which our children loved. So easy to jump on the ferry to take you to Luna Park, Taronga Zoo, or any of the beautiful bays for lunch. The home was spotless, beautifully furnished and well equipped with everything we needed. So nice not to be cramped into one or two hotel rooms. This was such a lovely place to reside for a week. We are booking for next year too. Host was responsive and helpful. Thank you Jan!

This place is so elegant and luxurious. I felt amazing the entire stay! Everything was so thoughtfully provided, making it super convenient and comfortable. my dog Delta and I had the best time staying at Jacaranda cabin. Fiona was most accommodating and respected our privacy through our stay. I highly recommend this stay if you are looking to escape the world and be surrounded by beautiful nature. My dog was most welcome and great to have her by my side.

Staying at Gina's with our anxious dog and our bird was really good. My partner and I were making our way to QLD as we have decided to move up to the Gold Coast, so finding a lovely comfortable quiet place to stay for a few nights with our pets was great. I also had 3 of my girlfriends and one brought her husband and 5 year old son over for dinner on our first night as a sort of farewell. When I asked Gina if it would be ok for my friends to come over for a bbq dinner she was absolutely fine about it and she was also fine with two of the girls staying the night on the pull out couch, which they said was very comfortable.The kitchen didn't have enough cutlery and crochery for 6 adults (there was only 3 forks) but I understand the air bnb is designed mainly for two guests.The kitchen in general had pretty minimal things, also the tv was small and is not a smart tv, you only have free to air and a dvd player which I thought was a bit undated.But everything else was great, would stay again

The cottage was absolutely beautiful and felt at home straight away! The hosts went above and beyond with all the little touches throughout the property including pizza kits and homemade granola (Prue even went out her way to make me a gluten free version). We also had a lovely massage by Kate which was the perfect way to relax. The house is in a very peaceful area, close to beautiful blue mountain trails, we thoroughly enjoyed our break and would very much recommend!

Antonina was a lovely host, who responded straight away to any questions we had. The home was just as described very beautiful with lovely surroundings. We felt so relaxed in this beautiful private surroundings. Would definitely recommend and we will hopefully be coming back in Easter.

Loved our stay at June’s little private sanctuary. We absolutely loved the privacy and tranquility. Wallabies were adorable and it was definitely surreal waking up to them at our deck, patiently waiting for food. King parrots were beautiful. We enjoyed the short bush walk, though it was definitely tougher than it looks and offered a good challenge (take this city girl’s words with a pinch of salt for the experienced bush walkers!) We were initially intimidated by the drive in but managed it with a normal sedan. Definitely emerged well recharged. Well recommend it for anyone who needs a break from the city!

The stay was cozy and had all we needed to cook a good roast and relax. The birds that came on the balcony for their feed was also a cute experience

Michael was a fabulous host - very helpful, responsive and accommodating. The location is so peaceful and the accommodation itself is well-equipped and stylish. It is off-grid but still offered little luxuries which we appreciated. I particularly liked the cookware and kitchen amenities - we cooked every night for a family of 4 and the place didn't lack anything in that regard. The bbq, woodfire hot tub and fire pit were the highlights of the accommodation. Thank you Michael - we would love to book your place again in the future!
