The Tiny House may be tiny, but she be fierce! It is packed full, inside and out, with all the things you need for a lovely unplugged stay in the North Cascades. Wake up to birds singing, take your coffee outside on the large wraparound deck and breathe in the fresh mountain air. After a day exploring, come back to enjoy a drink and some sort of treat you may have picked up from the Mazama Store. Please be aware that there is no WiFi! And you may not have cell coverage. Did we mention no WiFi?

Whatever the season, Skytop is the ideal base for your Methow Valley adventures. This rustically modern, wheelchair-friendly cottage feels remote, yet downtown Winthrop is a mere quarter-mile away. The new second-story Treehouse Suite (which rents for an additional $100 a night paid directly to the owner) features a gas fireplace and freestanding tub, allowing a second couple or generation to enjoy their privacy while sharing Skytop's kitchen, dining and entertainment space. (Sorry, no pets.)

Plowed flat roads make for easy access in winter. Close to the Methow Valley and North Cascade Trails - 3.5 miles from the Mazama store and 11 miles to downtown Winthrop.

Sorry, no cooking inside, there's a Blackstone Propane Griddle on the deck with cookware. Walk in shower with glass doors. Private deck with seating, propane fire pit (usable winter only), hot tub. This property is located on Salmon Creek in the historic town of Conconully Washington! There are 2 lakes within walking distance for fishing or swimming. There is also a grocery store, and 2 restaurants/bars. Plenty of fishing available on both lakes. If you need a fishing pole, just let us know. There are amazing mountains to explore and many nearby towns to visit. Our little town is full of deer for your viewing pleasure. We have a wonderful state park as well.

This cozy modern cabin is in the heart of Mazama just 6 miles from the Mazama store and minutes from hiking and ski trails. The cabin is NOT a secluded cabin in the woods as you can see other houses around you and it is close to Lost River Road. But the road ends just north of the cabin and it is the "end of line" for Mazama and the Methow Valley, so the area remains fairly quiet. **PLEASE SEE NOTE BELOW regarding Smoke & Fire Season during the Summer.

Very helpful front desk gal. Room was very clean. Surprised to find that the room was in the basement and had no windows. But that made it nice and cool and quiet. Cute decor, everything worked, well supplied. Wonderful full breakfast, awesome coffee.

Romantic Riverfront Cottage - 1 Mile to Winthrop!

Such a wonderful stay. Cottage was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. Only thing I would change is an accessible path from the cottage to the waterfront. If the main house was rented out, you would have to trek through their space, which isn’t ideal. Otherwise, a great experience and will be back!!!

The pictures do not do this cabin justice ! It has a perfect riverfront location and is beyond peaceful. It is clean, comfortable, and has beautiful views from every angle. You would be hard-pressed to find a lovelier dog-friendly cabin in the Methow. Ken and Melanie were fabulous hosts and communicators. They have created something very special in Mazama. It was the perfect location for celebrating my husband’s birthday and sharing our favorite corner of the world with my mother-in-law. We hope to be back soon !
