Waterfront holiday rentals in Winthrop

This was the perfect spot for my first trip to Rockport! The location was fantastic, and it was well stocked with amenities. Even though we didn’t have great weather for our stay, the living room was perfect for getting cozy and watching a movie.

What a wonderful view from the apartment! If someone brought their pet or no pet people there's a park across the street for a lovely walk. Very easy to get in to Salem, train to Boston, very nice location. Everything was very clean and comfortable, they thought of everything to have ready for the guest. Such great host, everything worked out excellent for our stay.

The location of Gigi’s place cannot be beat. Centrally located in Rockport, and above/adjacent to great restaurants. Apartment was immaculate and tasteful. Gigi provides very clear instructions and is very responsive. Would definitely stay here again. We flew into Boston and did not rent a car for this stay. The apartment is about a 15 minute walk from the commuter train station, and a minute or two walk from the Dock Square CATA bus stop that can bring you to the train station as well as other places like Halibut Point State Park.

The loft is bright, beautiful, cozy and clean. Alexander is a wonderful host.

My husband and I decided to spend a night here between trips to Acadia National Park and Boston, and I'm so glad we did! It was such as cute town to walk around and look at the shops, and the house was the perfect central location. We enjoyed sitting out in the adirondack chairs to watch the sunset. Carol and Joe were the nicest hosts, taking time to chat with us for a bit. They have made this historic home very beautiful!

Our cousins get-away weekend was amazing due in part to the wonderful accommodations. Great location, so close to shops and restaurants. Incredible views, very clean and stocked with everything you could ever need. Would love to return and hope for better weather to enjoy the deck!

Property was just as pictured, which I find extremely important. This spot is off the beaten path and quiet with a nice little walking bridge for a stroll. Close enough by car, to all the attractions of Glouchester when your ready to get out and about.

Thomas and Jenny’s airbnb was a great and spacious place to decompress after a family event and enjoy the riverview and the birds-including swans and their cygnets! The kitchen has anything you could possibly need for cooking if you were there for a longer stay. The house is awesome-wood floors and high ceilings and plenty of couch space and a dining room. We didn’t use the back deck due to the weather, but it would be a nice place to relax on a sunny day. Also, the king bed was extremely comfortable! The location was convenient for us to walk to visit Moody Street (less than a mile) but the house is tucked in next to an office park so there is not as much of a neighborhood feel in the immediate area-but the river views out back and the comfort of the home more than make up for that! Thomas and Jenny responded right away to our questions. They are strict with how many people can visit during the day (no more than 4) to keep noise down for their neighbors. We really enjoyed our stay!

This house was in the perfect location. Our daughter’s wedding was 10 minutes away in Nahant, the after party was at the Mission Bay and we could walk from the Airbnb. Located across the street from a beautiful beach, great for walking. Great restaurants nearby. The property was very clean and luxurious. Loved the coffee bar, snacks and water provided. We enjoyed sitting on the patio with a cocktail; to enjoy the beautiful view!

Bre was great! She was super responsive and was good with tips for places to go to in Salem when we asked. She also provided a manual for the stay that had tons of recommendations of things to do in and around the area. The home was exactly as it looked and was super duper cute, we also loved being able to come back from our time out and have a nice cozy place to stay.

I wanted to take my mom to the Boston area and settled on just south of Boston I was lucky to come across Asha’s Airbnb listing. We had the most wonderful relaxing enjoyable stay far better than any hotel in the area . The house is exactly as stated super well appointed. Asha thought of everything to make guests comfortable and we truly enjoyed three days of beautiful sunny weather… So much so that we did not even set foot in Boston. Asha, thank you for a five star stay and we will definitely be returning maybe even this summer

This house has an exquisite view and setting - so picturesque, one of us who’s an amateur watercolor painter sat in the sunroom one day and painted the harbor channel scene right out the large bay windows! Ray was a helpful, responsive host and the house was clean and well-appointed. A beautiful, quiet, relaxing stay!

Rachel’s place is a one of a kind! I came with a group of 10, which had everything we needed. The place has its own private entrance, beautiful surroundings and views. It was very spacious as all of us slept comfortably. Rachel is a great host, always responsive and understanding. My love for Ipswich grew solely based off this place. Everything was in top shape and perfect, I’d recommend it to everyone!

This house was perfect for two parents and two grown children to spend Christmas week. The views were amazing, the setting very peaceful. The neighbors were very nice and welcoming. (Lots of dog walkers.) The temperature throughout the house could be regulated very well. Separate thermostats for upstairs and downstairs. The TVs worked great and there was comfortable seating for our group. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the bathrooms worked great -- plenty of hot water and nice amenities. The kitchen was very well equipped for any kind of cooking. As we were leaving, my wife and I said this was probably the first AirBNB we've stayed in to which we would happily return.

This was an awesome place for my daughter, her family and I to spend time sightseeing Boston while also letting the kids (and ourselves) relax with some beach time. Access to the Boston sights was easy with our rental car, though I think we could have done it well using the “T” which is a 10 minute walk. The house is giant, and the bedrooms on the upper level allowed the grandpa (me) to go to sleep at a reasonable hour while the kids hung on the lower level. The kitchen has all we needed to cook, though there are restaurants a short walk or a drive. One thing that I loved was that the place was spotless clean and NONE of the little things like loose knobs or broken shades. Oh, and a giant washer/dryer made cleaning up after the beach easy. I consider this the best of the AirBnB homes I’ve visited.

Loved our stay at Diana’s place- we were celebrating my bachelorette party. It was nice to be so close to downtown Salem but also on a private street- it’s walkable or a 5 min or less uber drive away. The place has really cool water views out the windows! We had a small fire alarm issue but Diana was very helpful and responsive. I would recommend trying the sauna it was very relaxing!

Thank you for sharing your home! I found this a very convenient location to the T which brought us right to downtown Boston. I especially appreciated the umbrella that was left for use in the living room as I forgot mine and it was a rainy weekend. This apartment was spotless and I loved the espresso machine!

Mark's place was outstanding. It was spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. We chose the location because of the local views (the marsh is so beautiful, and it did not disappoint!) and because of the excellent reviews, and it met all our hopes and expectations. As a fellow Airbnb host who wants a very clean place for my own guests and when I travel, I think this was the cleanest place I've every stayed. It was truly spotless, which was so lovely. Mark was responsive and helpful when we had a question. The bed was comfortable (albeit tall--a short person might need a boost up!), there was so much closet room, and overall plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen was bright & well outfitted. We had a wonderful time, even though we arrived in the middle of an unusual late-May Nor'easter. We enjoyed the local restaurants and cute Mayflour bakery, and used Mark's guide book for choosing a beach. We very much hope to come back! Thank you Mark for your kind hospitality!

We loved our stay! Christina’s condo was comfortable, peaceful and perfectly located. We were walkable to the entire downtown area, museums, the concert venue, walking paths, shopping and restaurants. But the best thing was sitting outside on our private deck overlooking the harbor, with Motif #1 just across the inlet. We almost didn’t want to leave the condo…so gorgeous! And Christina is lovely, making sure we were okay, had everything we needed, so responsive. After the condo coffeemaker stopped working, she kindly offered a gift card to a nearby coffee shop, and before night fell, a new coffeemaker was delivered to the condo! Such a thoughtful host… we will be back!

The place was stunning and close to Boston Commons and all the tourist attractions. Jay was wonderful and came over to greet us and talk about all the amenities and getting around Boston. We loved the place and looking forward to staying again!

Spiro was an awesome host. He met me when I arrived, showed me around, and even offered to help me bring stuff in from my car. His home was so clean. I loved the historic photos on the fridge and he had a ton of great books too! The balcony was probably my favorite part with the view of the water. It was also easy to park my car in the street right in front of the home where I could easily see it. I would definitely stay here again.

This was my first time using airbnb, Charley made it a breeze. The space was great and organized well, very impressed by his use of the space and amenities his place offered. It was close enough to everything we needed , very walkable and being close to the water was an added bonus. Our daughters enjoyed going down during low tide and looking at the little crabs. His instructions were very clear, and great communication, check in and check out was simple. It had everything we needed and was nice to come back to after a long day of site seeing. Everything exceeded my expectations, I highly recommend staying here.
