We feel that the best way to describe our getaway to be “Rustic Elegance”. When you walk through the door you will instantly feel the warmth of a uniquely styled Adirondack cottage. Located nearby to the Acadia Highway (aka Route 1), we are close by to historic Fort Knox, Castine, and Acadia. Enjoy our attached “Greenhouse” which has been made over into a delightful screenhouse/patio, the country setting, blueberry fields, and the beautiful sunrises and sunsets! Fast 400 Mbs cable internet/WiFi. 45 minutes to Acadia National Park, 30 min. to Belfast, 20 min. to Castine. Perfect base for hiking, kayaking, sailing, or discovering the maritime past of the area. Two room suite on the first floor of my home with an en-suite private bathroom and views of the Penobscot River/Bay! ***Just under an hour drive to Acadia.*** Convenient access right on Route 1. A short walk to the Sandy Point beach park. Comfortable queen bed and sleep sofa. Two 40” HD TVs with Roku. Mini fridge, microwave, toaster oven and induction burner in room. Almost 400 SF of space! A hot tub is conveniently located off the deck for ultimate relaxation! This cabin is tucked away, surrounded by nature! But also conveniently located to so many wonderful spots in the Midcoast! Come enjoy the peace and quiet, where you can rest and recharge!
