Bold Coast Camp - Acadia's Schoodic Peninsula

Fall asleep in the fresh Maine air, listening to the sounds of the nearby harbor. Wake to birdsong and dancing leaves. Our 5m bell tent is appointed with cozy furnishings to wrap you in comfort after a day of exploration. Recline under the stars by the fire pit and view the magnificent milky way. Schoodic Loft Cabin "The Roost" with Kayaks

This playful cabin offers a unique spot to unwind and explore the Schoodic peninsula and Downeast Maine. Kayaks are provided to explore island studded 462 acre Jones pond, a 10 minute walk down a trail. A 10 minute drives brings you to the less visited Schoodic section of Acadia NP, where a network of hiking and biking trails lace the coastal forests and dramatic rocky coast. Nearby Winter Harbor has shops and restaurants and even a ferry across the bay to Bar Harbor and Mount Desert Island.

Fisherman's Nook & Schoodic Retreat

Upstair treetop loft, interior stairs/ all private space. Open concept living room w/kitchen. Plenty of dish ware. Living area: sofa with ottoman, recliner, rocker, smart TV, ceiling fan & window A/C. Bathroom: shower, vanity, flush, washer/dryer, laundry supplies, iron, toiletries, towels, and blow dryer. Bedroom: Queen size platform bed, dresser, bedside tables, sound machine, closet, ceiling fan, window A/C. Bedroom door opens to a small private deck w/stairs to ground level.

Our rustic, but comfortable cabin in the charming village of Winter Harbor welcomes you with an expansive open ocean view from the front windows. We like to say that it is a $10,000 cabin with a $10,000,000 dollar view! The cabin is quaint and well furnished on a private property. The view is unsurpassed and spectacular and features Mark Island Lighthouse and Acadia National Park's, Schoodic Peninsula coastline.

The Adventure House

Our house was named “The Adventure House” by a family of houseguests with 3 fun and lively children. They told us that their time in Maine was filled with fun adventures so the kids started calling the house “The Adventure House” during their stay. We thought that was fitting as we are so close to Acadia National Park and many other pathways to adventures!

It's perfectly centered in the Birch Harbor village. Sitting at the exit of the Schoodic Peninsula, the entrance to the park is only 1.5 miles up the road. Breath taking views of the ocean and many walking, hiking, and biking trails that will lead you to reconnect with Mother Nature. This is the quiet side of Acadia National Park.
