Holiday rentals with lake access in Willamette River

Our stay at Riad and Amy's place was amazing. The house was clean, has great amenities and was well-stocked with everything we needed. We'd love to stay here again!

WOW! Talk about a view! You can't help but smile when you walk through the front door and see the amazing view of the ocean. The house was beautiful, clean, and had everything and more that you could possibly want/need. I will definitely stay here again, it was amazing!

The place is on a quiet lake, not far from "downtown" Florence. Leslie's instructions on how the house works are clear and helpful. It was a pleasure interacting with her

This property was just as described. Perfectly situated right on the river. If you like to fish this is the place. It is not however a place for small children. There is not a yard and the steep stairs to the river could be problematic for older guests. There is a nice deck. Two of the bedrooms are upstairs and open to the great room. The stairs to one of the bedrooms is a ship’s ladder. The one bathroom is on the main floor and it is nice. There is another bedroom right across from the bathroom on the main floor. It has bunk beds but the bottom bunk is probably a double. The kitchen is well equipped, but no dishwasher. Joseph gives a lot of instructions around the very steep drive. Please read carefully he is not exaggerating! We have an all wheel drive SUV and had no issues. Joseph is very responsive. I had a perceived issue and he immediately was trying to resolve the problem. He was kind and understanding. This property is in a beautiful setting and very private. Would stay again.

What a great place! The lake house is so tranquil and private, and a short walk/drive down the road for coast access. The water views from the house are absolutely spectacular and you can watch the birds for hours. The kitchen had all the cooking gear you could need, the beds and bathrooms were comfortable and clean, and all the games were a treat to have around on a rainy day. We will definitely be coming back again soon!

Sherry’s home was one of the coolest, coziest, homiest, best set up Airbnb homes I’ve ever rented. It was as if the best mom/grandmother in the world set up a family home that had magic and comfort around every corner. Nestled in a fairytale setting in the woods above a pond teaming with trout, the house itself was gorgeous and huge, full of decor and collections and beautiful art. From feeding the fish and watching them jump above the surface, to picking ripe plums in the early morning from the trees, sitting out amongst the stunning flower gardens while barbecuing, playing pool and basketball hoop shoot games upstairs, playing guitar in the living room, and watching a movie together curled up in cozy chairs; it was the perfect place for my family to gather. My son was married at Camp Colton this weekend and we rented a few airbnbs for us and out of town relatives to stay. But this wasn’t just a place to stay, it was an joyful experience. (Also super comfortable beds!)

Such a beautiful home with all the amenities you will need. The area is breathtaking! Comfortable beds, very clean, great ocean view! Side note: If you have knee trouble this isnt your place...LOTS of stairs. Absolutely would recommend this home!!

Me and family spent the weekend here for my nieces quinceñera party, and the venue was super close just around the corner, we liked the location it was in the middle of town turn right or left and everything was close, market, coffe, gas. my kids had alot of fun playing video games and we tried to finish a Disney puzzle but we didn't have enough time, there was plenty of games and puzzles. we felt cozy perfect size home for our family. we would definitely recommend this home. to a family. The place was cute and cozy as described in the listing. It’s exactly what we needed for our Portland trip, as we were not planning to cook much and just relax. We enjoyed the massage chair and the patio views. Loved it and would love to stay again definitely.

What a beautiful setting! I had a few places on my list but waited too long. Only Terri's was closest to my Son's new home. But wow, I'm so glad I booked it! Peacock Lane was beautiful, roomy, and VERY clean! Due to a flight delay, my plane was delayed until almost midnight, and I was unfamiliar with this part of town. Her instructions were spot on! Entry was easy, and parking was covered! I didn't realize there was a washer and dryer in the bathroom as it was not my priority, but it proved a godsend in the rainy weather. I appreciated the coffee and tea, and there were plenty of towels. (In some places, you only get 2 or 3). Many ppl complained about the lack of TV, but the internet was VERY GOOD, and the beds were so big and comfy that my grandsons and I snuggled up to watch on my laptop! (The couch is comfortable too!) There are plenty of Starbucks (2) and shopping nearby. I can't wait to go back. Thank you, Terri.

Stayed for the 4th of July my family and I really enjoyed our stay.. beautiful studio very clean, spacious, with nice views, very close to the lake & docks which was convenient & overall easy & fun experience 😊

this is a beautiful place to stay at. the grounds are well kept and beautiful art pieces inside and out. I loved it

Denise is a very welcoming host. Her communications on the location and how to access the rental were very clear and easy to follow. She happened to be home and greeted us we entered the door. Within in day, my wife was trading cookie recipes with Denise. The space looks just like the photos on the Airbnb page. The living room/kitchen area is as large as many hotel rooms. It's in a great location within walking distance of downtown Hillsboro, the MAX and less than a 5 minute walk from the people we were visiting. As others have commented, the king-sized bed is very comfy. If you have mobility issues, be aware that there are stairs since it is a basement.

Beautiful old vintage fishing cabin vibes!! The bathroom has a large deep soaking tub that made the stay luxurious and relaxing, the view from the bedroom outside to the lake made for a beautiful awaking even when it was cloudy and rainy. The house is full of kitchen amenities which I loved because most places you have to bring our go and buy items that aren’t In the kitchen, but here they got it all.

A fantastic stay for a trip to the coast! More secluded location, but still minutes from the beach made for a very peaceful stay. Wonderful spot for a stay with kids ir dogs. Note that there is actually MORE space than is shown in the listing.

This was our second trip to The Rocky Whale in the last six months. We love it here. For us, the location is incredible. We spend as much time on the beach possible and being able to cross the street to the dune path and be at the ocean in less than 5 minutes is incredible. Low-tide tide pools? Check. Entire groups of seals? Check. Eagles? Check. Milky Way on a clear night? Also check! We are grateful for the ability to bring our dogs and the big open space downstairs to be able to house their crates. The bed/bath/kitchen has always been clean and comfortable and when the storms come through being able to hang out in the big living space upstairs and keep ourselves entertained (tv… storm… games.. etc) has come in handy. The kitchen is well appointed. We eat in when we stay here and there is nothing we haven’t been able to handle (sometimes a little improvisation is needed!) We were never able to find the tv remote on our second trip… but there is an app for that.

We had so much fun at this location. So peaceful and relaxing We did take our 3 young children with us and they had an absolute blast, throwing rocks in the river, caught a few lizards and had a blast exploring. Our dog had the time of his life out there My husband and i had a nice relaxing time and great views from the bedrooms upstairs. The best was so comfortable as well, i will definitely miss that. We will be back once the river goes down a bit so we can get to enjoy that anymore. The only suggestion id have is to pack your own bottles of water, the drinking water is very slow and the amount of water our family drinks it was a trickle at the end of the day and could not fill our drinking glasses

The place was beautiful and clean. Less than a 5 minute walk from the beach and plenty of restaurants including a great karaoke bar. Thorsten's instructions were clear so I didn't end up needing to ask any questions. loved our stay and will be back!

This is our second stay at Chad’s cottage. It was a stunningly beautiful weekend and the autumn leaves reflected in the river with herons and seals cruising by was incredible. Chad and his wife are always super friendly, the cottage spotless and the beds comfy. My husband would take each of the kids canoeing up and down the river to fish for salmon in a canoe provided. If you don’t have a river house with all the toys, this is the next best thing.

Laurie and Van are very nice people and the place is great. We enjoyed the peacefulness as this place is just out of the busy city and the hosts allowing access to the lake and thier dock through their space is a very nice gesture. highly recommend and we will return.

We had a wonderful time. The location is excellent and the house is lovely and very comfortable!

This place was perfect for us and our friends! We celebrated our engagement and had professional photos done at the old growth forest nearby. The backyard was perfect for our dog and having a bonfire with our friends and roasting marshmellows was the cherry on top. Awesome place to stay. Definitely will be coming back. :)
