Great place felt right at home and fully stocked kitchen and linens and blankets and towels for our group! Little slice of heaven to relax and rest and enjoy our weekend.

WOW! Whispering Oaks is 100% hands down ABB at its finest! I can't actually believe this place is available as it is incredibly special. Lisa is the most proactive and genuine host I have ever stayed with. Don't hesitate if its available because Whispering Oaks is usually booked solid. Fantastic accommodation for you and your entire group!

Adorable, little cozy cabin. Was perfect for a couples getaway for the weekend. We loved the hot tub and area to have a fire. Awesome porch for having meals outside as well.

Excellent responsive host! Beautiful, private cabin with a phenomenal view of the Mississippi River valley. Inside there is a Lovely, enchanting & comfortable cabin atmosphere. Great fireplace! Good hot tub. Nice kitchen with everything you need. Except they need to upgrade the skillets & pots, which are very old. We left a note communicating this point. If you like pure privacy....this is the place! Transporting heavy luggage to and from the cabin can be a challenge. A long descending sidewalk can be difficult, especially for older guests. Young & strong....no problem. Overall we really enjoyed our visit. This cabin is a Gem!! We will consider a return trip.

We had a great time staying here! It was an extremely relaxing and peaceful stay. The view was gorgeous, and the amenities provided made the trip that much more enjoyable. It felt like a home away from home! Would definitely recommend!

I stayed here with 4 college friends and we had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed to cook meals and relax. The hot tub and fire pit were fun extras. The hallway bunk beds are reasonable for shorter/smaller adults and were actually quite comfortable. The location is absolutely quiet and private with a great view over the river bottoms. Highly recommend the Stockholm Pie Company, Villa Belleza Winery, and the Stone Barn pizza in the local area!

Everything was great! Very clean, great location, and great host. We just wish our coffee maker would have worked!

Large, spacious property that can accommodate big groups with multiple bedrooms, bathrooms and a functional kitchen. Highly oriented to the hunting community and had the appropriate decor to match. Quick trips into Mondovi and a manageable distance from Eau Claire. Overall, the property well fit our needs to have a convenient location for our group of 10 attending a country wedding.

Second visit, & just as wonderful as my original visit. Cabin was clean & free of clutter. Quiet & safe neighborhood. Can’t wait to come back again next year!

This is my second stay here! My family and I enjoyed our stay very much. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to get away for a weekend or who wants to take a fishing trip. There are a ton of great fishing spots around the area. I will definitely be coming back!

We absolutely loved This place. The Cabin was perfectly rustic while well appointed with everything we needed. The surroundings are beautiful wooded ridges and hilly farm fields. My daughter loved the small pond to practice her paddling with me. My wife loved the loft bedroom that allowed her to escape my snoring. And we all loved the ever present birds, (Eagles, hummingbirds, orioles and goldfinches to name a few standouts) We will be sfaying here for sure when we visit our family in the area again. It was PERFECT!

Cozy and clean cabin, great for a family stay. We only spent one night but would be a great spot for campfires, grill outs, or walks to nearby winery and shops! Would recommend staying here!

Beautiful home overlooking gorgeous view of river!

The dock is awesome, definitely go up the street and grab suckers from the bait shop. Perfect house if you’re planning on spending time on the water. Huge dock and sandy beach definitely recommend if your outdoorsy.

This was a great spot for a little getaway from the Twin Cities. We checked out Red Wing, Lake City, Wabasha & Pepin! All fun areas to bop around in during the day or at night if you’d like, but this spot had games, a fire pit & all the things if you’d like to just stay here as well. It had amazing views of Lake Pepin - it was above a road & a railroad, so that can get a little noisy when sitting outside, but it’s worth it for the view. Bed was comfortable. No dishwasher, but it wasn’t a big deal. Morgan had everything we needed for a great stay. We will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay! Very clean and relaxing and it was exactly as the listing described. Denel was very accommodating and we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a lake house getaway!

We had a beautiful stay on Lake Zumbro! We spent most of our time outside!! The fish weren't biting, but the swimming, paddle boarding and lily pad were a huge hit! The fridge was empty and clean so make sure to bring your own condiments. The beds were comfortable, my kiddo even said that it was the most comfortable bed they had slept on outside of their own. The game room was a nice surprise, I didn't realize it was a whole other building. We grilled out, used the fire pit and spent the rainy day under the covered porch. We will definitely be back!!

My sons and I stayed at Martha’s Place for the first time this year for our annual trout fishing trip to the Elba area. This place had everything we needed for our stay. Especially nice to have three bedrooms and nice big comfortable beds. The kitchen appliances are state of the art. The fishing was exceptional this year in numbers and size. We would love to stay at Martha’s Place again next year.
