Holiday rentals with a fireplace in White Lake Township

The cottage was perfect for our stay. It was an amazing spot on Ryan Lake. The cottage was very roomy and clean. Anna was always responsive. The stairs were a bit steep but wasn't a problem for us. Thankfully there was a bedroom downstairs that worked great for our 80 year old Dad. He said staying at the cottage was the best part of his trip. He loved sitting and watching the birds in the yard and on the lake. It's really a hidden gem.

This was the perfect space for our trip. We were visiting family in the area but it was also an opportunity for me s to relax and unwind. Would definitely stay here again.

I've never stayed at an Airbnb before! This was the most perfect place to host family and friends for my daughter's beautiful wedding!! We will be back the talks through our stay were let's all come back again it definitely is paradise to me!! Not one complaint honestly a prime property place so much better than a hotel!!! Thank you!

The place was perfect and very relaxing. Enough space for our big family plus grandma and grandpa. We all had fun fishing from the dock and playing on the kayaks. We even enjoyed a fire in the fire pit every night. Colleen was fabulous and made sure we had everything we needed!

TLDR: Fantastic Airbnb, even better hosts, would stay again in a heartbeat. We had a bachelor party with 8 people and all of us thoroughly enjoyed the house. We were pleasantly surprised by its size and amenities. It matched the pictures and was quite clean. The neighborhood was quiet and in a great location for doing activities all across Detroit, Auburn Hills, Novi, you name it. We shared a concern about linens/pillows from reading reviews and before our stay, they upgraded all of them around the house, such a nice touch that was very appreciated! Thus, we all got great sleep. The owners were extremely friendly and responsive, even after 1 am. Check in & check out were easy. Only a few recommendations such as reupholstering/replacing the living room couch as the padding is worn out, keeping a vacuum on site, and sweeping the garage to get leaves/debris out.

Lisa and Phil have an amazing place and go above and beyond as hosts! They had fresh pastries, fruit, and flowers waiting for us. The kitchen is well stocked with pantry essentials and cooking gear. The property is immedicable and exemplifies Phil's wood-working craftsmanship. We took full advantage of the hot tub and also a tour of Phil's downstairs wood shop. While initially concerned about the train, we found it an exciting perk and our sleep was never disturbed even without ear plugs. We were lucky enough to be able to stay for 2 weeks and will definitely be recommending the "lodge" to friends and family!

Kelly was very responsive and friendly, and kindly accommodated my early check-in. The place had everything I needed — it felt just like home. Super clean and cute — I had a great stay!

Me and my family loved it here. Claudia and Renee were super helpful and quick to answer any questions. The house is beautiful and spacious. The bathroom was super clean. The kitchen was fully functional. Plus, they have a lot of games that kept my whole family entertained. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Lisa was a wonderful host and even met us at the door when we arrived to make sure that we were settled in okay and knew how everything worked. She checked in throughout the stay just to make sure everything was okay which I appreciated. I would gladly stay here again as it was the perfect location for when we come to visit Lapeer. The place was very clean and lovely and the appliances were easy to use. Thanks again Lisa!

This was my first Airbnb stay and it was great. The stairs are super steep, that’s my only concern because of my bad knee, but I’d still stay there again. The unit was very clean, organized and all the furniture was very comfortable. The location was great, the neighborhood was quiet and beautiful. The host was helpful and quickly responded. My flight was delayed almost 6 hours and he made sure the front light was on for me. 😊

My wife and I stayed here for an extended memorial day weekend. The balcony suite was laid out great. We loved sitting on the private balcony in the mornings with the dogs to enjoy a coffee and some quiet. It was a very short walk to the downtown area that had a lot of great restaurants and a few coffee shops. There was also a park right along the river that was also within walking distance. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely try to book here again!

The place was great. Loved the decor!!! It felt like a hotel stay. Very clean and organized. It was comfortable and Em was a great host. She was very kind, patient and accommodating.

Quiet and peaceful, loved the giant park across the street.

Toilet seat downstairs was junk. Place was great though. Nice location. Easy to find. Convenient for the Russell industrial center

Keri's place was very lovely! It was the perfect place for us to retreat to after our long days. The place was super clean — the bathroom was spotless, the kitchen was really clean (including the inside of the fridge!), and the bed linens and mattress were fresh and comfy. Everything we needed for our stay was available. We were grateful for the clear directions and expectations along with the recreational and dining suggestions. We also really appreciated how responsive and thoughtful Keri was — she went out of her way to accommodate our special situation and made sure we had everything we needed. The little welcoming touches were noticed and appreciated. We hope to stay there again! Thanks, Keri!

Everything was very clean, the decor was beautiful

I wish we could had enjoy the downstairs uni more. Its quiet neighbourhood and the house was clean. I enjoyed the fire place. The house was alright. I enjoy looking out the window. The basement unit gets plenty of sun. ☀️ I love the nearby restaurants and scenery. We LOVED this area Walmart and farm shops.

It was our second time staying at Ian's place, we had a great time once again! Easy to find and in a nice and safe neighborhood. The small appartments make it easy to have privacy even when travelling as a group. Highly recommend!

Zarifa is simply the best host out there. Very responsive, attentive and polite. She truly wants your stay to be the best. I would book with her every time if I could!

I highly recommend this house. I spent a week there and found it to be very peaceful, with plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. I’d also like to highlight how incredible Blessing is—attentive, kind, and always ready to help throughout my stay.

A great location for our trip to visit family in Grosse Pointe. We had a lovely stay, and will stay here again if we can.

This place absolutely perfect! Zoha and Samina went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and safe. I felt like I was at home. So close to all the places like food, mall, restaurants. The most important thing I loved is the garden, so so pretty and so much work put into it, nature is my favorite so I truly appreciate it, the view from my window was so so beautiful. The place was truly amazing, everything was so easy. Hosts let check out a little later cause I started work later in the evening and that was so sweet of them. If you want private, peaceful, homey neighborhood this one’s for you. They literally have everything you need. Both Zoha and Samina are so kind and thoughtful, cannot recommend it enough. Definitely coming back!!! Thank you so such a wonderful hospitality!
