Monthly Rentals in Wheeler Springs

We rented both the main house and the Zen Studio for the family to celebrate my mother’s 90th birthday. The setting is beautiful and made the weekend feel very special. We had everything we needed, especially in the kitchen, and everything was clean and comfortable . Nice attention to detail such as cabinets with labels. Lots of places outside to rest, relax and enjoy the lovely views. Grocery store nearby.

Rancho Grande in Ojai is pure magic. Tucked deep in the Los Padres National Forest, this 200-acre guest ranch and animal sanctuary is peaceful, playful, and unforgettable. We stayed in the cozy Cowboy Cabin—surrounded by goats, alpacas, horses, and even a camel named Albert! The vibe is chill, the views are stunning, and cruising the property in a John Deere utility vehicle was the cherry on top. If you're craving something soulful, offbeat, and joy-filled—this is the place! I didn't want to leave and I already can’t wait to return.

Maya and Robert are wonderful hosts. They are very friendly and laid back. While the indoor space is pretty small, it had everything I needed. And you can’t beat the price.

Stay was lovely, although the unit was a little less secluded than I anticipated. It sits above a somewhat noisy road, but the view was amazing. The apartment is the bottom floor of the owners’ home with their (blinded) windows overlooking the patio. They were great - we never heard them and they gave us total privacy - but it’s not a separate building, which I didn’t quite surmise from the listing details. We did have a relaxing time and the location for exploring the area is perfect. Lots of care went into this property - small details like providing tea/coffee, comfy seating, and cozy lighting and decor. Hosts were great communicators. Happy we stayed here and would recommend!
