Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Whangarei District

I enjoyed my stay at Alan & Patricias house. I stayed for 5 nights and it was a good base to have; very homely, clean and the atmosphere was friendly and inviting. Shared bathroom and showers, but it felt seamless to share the facilities. I would recommend it to friends and family traveling to Whangarei to stay at Alan & Patricias house.

Highly recommend. Carolyn and her family are so helpful kind and welcoming. The place was perfect for our needs on our short holiday. They treated our kids like part of the family. We spent alot of time with the horses, Carolyn was so patient and helpful teaching our kids to ride for the first time. The pool was great being inside right on the doorstep of the rooms it didnt matter what the weather was doing. Location is peaceful and quiet but close enough to the beaches nearby. Very helpful instructions to find the place, Everything was perfectly clean and tidy upon arrival. Thanks Carolyn, Grant and Phoebe!

Colette is a perfect host.. 🙂 She is decent, matured, friendly, kind, helpful, carries a wealth of experience and the list goes on.. She made me feel right at home the moment I stepped in.. Room was comfy, clean, neat and tidy with a clean private bathroom.. 👌🏽 Our conversations over coffee in the evening during sunset and in the morning during sunrise, overlooking the serene landscape of the beautiful fishing harbour and mountains, lasted for long over various topics.. I can’t wait to visit her again with my family.. ❤️

We had an absolutely gorgeous stay at this property. I wish we were there for more than one night! The hosts were so friendly and we were blown away by the beautiful surroundings and comfort of our cottage. Everything was perfectly clean and we felt right at home. The views, especially from the shared pool and spa area are unbeatable. We also loved feeding the sheep who live on the property! I highly recommend booking as it was one of the highlights of our 3-weeks in New Zealand.

We loved our stay at Kate’s for our journey up north. The cabin had everything we needed and the view and surroundings are beautiful. Kate was super helpful, couldn’t ask for more!

We stayed with Al and Murray for 5 nights and they were just absolutely lovely. We were not there as tourists but to sort out a personal storage unit after losing our sailing boat in the pandemic. Al and Murray provided a home from home for us during this difficult week. The spa is fabulous and extremely relaxing. The pool is spotless. The room is comfy, spacious and airy and the bathroom / shower huge, pristine and well-appointed. We could use the kitchen as needed and the breakfast was excellent. If I could give these guys 6 stars I would. Thank you and we hope to see you in Europe one day.

Allan was a fantastic host who made us feel very at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfast and fire that he prepared for us were extra nice and he was there to answer every single question that we had. The place was also very comfortable and close to the beach, and we were very satisfied with everything. Great experience!
