Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Wexford

This is an old town house which was a former family home, so its just like a home from home. Its not a five star hotel or guest house but then neither is our own home place and we are perfectly happy there just as we were in this house for our weekend in Graiguenamanagh. Lorraine could not have been more helpful. - Answering any questions we had before booking - Meeting at a time that suited us to hand over keys and explain the running of the house and what was available locally. - Stocking up with Tea, Coffee, Milk, Bread, Jam and Biscuits. - Being at the end of the phone over the weekend to recommend restaurants etc. Grainuenamanagh Our first time and we were all blown away by the beauty of the area. Beautiful towns and villages of character. Indeed 2 minutes from the house there is access to miles upon miles of paradise for any runner or walker in the form of the Barrow way. Why is this area not promoted more from a tourism perspective? If your looking for a place to hide away watching TV on a 40" screen this is not the place for you. However if it a nice home to lay your head after days exploring the beauty of this area then it ticks the boxes. We will be back

The unit was exactly what we were looking for as a home base for touring around County Wexford. We arrived later than expected on our check in day and didn't get settled until almost 9 pm. At that point we set out for food. Most places were closing or closed but we were able to walk to Red Elephant and had a fantastic meal. just an example of the primo location. The unit was comfortable, we were able to cook meals, do laundry, including using the hanging racks. We will definitely look for availability whenever we visit Wexford again.

Breda and Joe’s farmhouse apartment was good value and just what we were looking for after a few days in busy Dublin - a peaceful stay in the countryside. They provided everything we needed in a very cosy, well-appointed cottage setting. The homemade bread and scones were a treat. It was an “escape to the countryside” but only 30 minutes drive from Kilkenny. Would definitely stay again.

We have travelled the world for almost two years and stayed at over 25 Airbnbs. This was one of the best we have experienced on the Airbnb platform. The little touches made a huge difference to us travelling for Christmas. Beautiful Christmas decorations, cosy furnishings, wine and cheese left in the fridge, made our stay so much more welcoming during a difficult time where we had to travel from Portugal to be with our elderly sick relative at a nursing home in Wexford. The location was perfect and everything was within walking distance. I would highly recommend staying here. I know we will definitely be back again. Thank you so much Margaret for making our Christmas so much more special than we imagined.

Beautiful apartment, facing the beach and with an incredible location, great communication with the owners, extremely polite and always available for any questions. I loved it.

Fab apartment, was attending a friend's 50th locally. was well situated and had everything needed for our stay. will definitely look to book again next time we are visiting.

Orla facilitated our request for a stay at very short notice. The place is was very clean, comfortable and close to Dunmore East. We had a fantastic stay and will 100% be back.

Beautiful space and location very peaceful. Very clean and cosy despite the Irish weather! Donal was very friendly, responsive, and helpful in recommending local things to do. If we weren’t passing through we would have definitely stayed longer. Highly recommend!

The house and surrounding area is spacious and is very comfortable and well equipped. The location is great. The house is in a peaceful area not far from Ballycanew, Courtown and Gorey. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Highroad House is absolutely amazing, truly a home away from home! The whole place was spotless, beautifully furnished, and incredibly comfortable, with super cozy beds, reclining sofas, and a kitchen that had everything we needed to cook and a huge fridge for all the goodies we bought. There were so many thoughtful little touches that made our stay extra special — phone chargers and USB adapters in the bedrooms, super-fast Wi-Fi (it's a 6, not a B!), throws if it was cold and loads of hot water. Every detail was so well thought out. Holly was fantastic — so friendly, responsive, and easy to deal with, which made the whole booking experience completely stress-free. And the EV charger at the house for guests to use was the cherry on top — a really great bonus! I honestly can’t recommend Highroad House enough. It’s the perfect place to unwind and recharge, and the ideal base for exploring the stunning local area. We didn’t want to leave, especially as the sun was shining

I stayed in Rachel’s house for Christmas to new year and the house was like a dream. So spacious and clean. Plenty of room and had everything you would need at hand. There is a lovely little village 3 mins away with local shop and little pub lovely friendly people. Beautiful relaxing area. Lovely beaches and walks with stunning views. Thank you again Rachel, I would highly recommend this house.

It’s hard to find fault with any aspect of our overall trip including accommodation, location warmth of reception given out by Frances/Yvonne. We would however make one recommendation for the shower in the lower Bathroom the floor of which is very slippy which poses a hazard to wrinkles like me it would benefit from a grab rail

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Eoin's place. The house and grounds are stunning! The house was extremely well equipped and had everything we needed and more. The location made the perfect base to visit our family in Wexford. We enjoyed day trips out to the beautiful Curracloe beach which is less than a 10min drive away. There are plenty of shops and restaurants/takeaways nearby. This place has it all. Eoin was a great host and was happy to help with anything we needed. Would highly recommend a stay here

Sean was very responsive to any questions no matter how trivial. The location was excellent and very central. The car park recommended was very easy and inexpensive. THe only thing I would say, the stairs are steep and may not suit a person with limited mobility. Other than that, it was excellent.

Perfect place for us - we wanted somewhere clean, warm comfortable, quiet and with 3 bedrooms to accomodate someone visiting us while we were over. The space was modern, well equipped, free from noise and comfortable with heating, warm water, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher and oven(s) all working. Helen was responsive before we arrived and left us lots of lovely treats milk, tea and coffee. Couldn't have asked for any more. Would highly recommend.

We had an excellent trip to Wexford. Staying at Nicola's was the perfect place - walkable to the tourist parts of town, and the street traffic was minimal (there will always be some noise in the center of a town, be we heard almost nothing.) Very lovely space, comfortable beds, pleasant dining area, and a private parking space in the center of town. We loved it and would gladly come back. Thank you!

A lovely stay at Ballykilty Lodge- the perfect size for a long weekend. The lodge was clean and tidy, with possibly the comfiest bed I have ever slept in!

Great communication and responses from both Bella and Ann. The place was very well kept and the beds extremely comfortable. The surrounding house and land is picturesque with gorgeous views out of each window!

Lavinia is a very lovely host, who will easily make you feel at home. Her apartment is fairly bohemian, the room is clean and tidy. If you are communicative and like to hear many interesting stories, you must stay with her. Also she will recommend the most beautiful beaches, gardens, ... for you to see.

had to phone for final bit of directions as my phone satnav wasn't behaving. A kind lady in local pub helped me contact Mary who then came to roadside to wave us in! Spacious property and garden. Queries and requests all listened to by Mary and Lee. It is a lovely area... enjoyed the coast and the local towns.
