Prepare a meal on the BBQ grill, take a swim in the pool, and light the fire pit while enjoying the sunset with family and friends. 11 The Retreat is only a 3 minute leisurely walk from the famous Camps Bay beach and restaurants. The house is spread over 3 levels. A 3 car private and lockable garage on the first, main living area inside and outside on the second level and bedrooms and bathrooms on the top and 3rd level. All levels are accessible by stairs and is therefore not wheelchair friendly or will not suit guests with walking difficulty. Accommodation is made up of 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Toilets are not separate but there is an additional guest loo on the second level. The house has a small private swimming pool, fire pit and gas barbecue. Pick n pay and a great variety of restaurants are just a short walk away. The property was newly renovated in 2015 and refurnished October 2016. For the duration of your stay, you will have access to the entire home. I am phone call away to assist with anything you may need during your stay. Guest can access everything except the garage We will be reachable via email, text or phone if needed The house is in Scarborough, arguably the most exciting village in the Western Cape. It’s full of charm, nature, and awesome local people. There are amazing surfing and kite-surfing conditions at the ocean. Once in Scarborough there is no need for transport unless you are leaving the village for nearby surf or entertainment. There is no dedicated public transport so it is advised to have a vehicle available if wanting to explore beyond the surroundings. Due to stairs without safety gates, the space is not recommended for mobile children below 3 or 4 years of age. If safety gates are required pls inform us ahead of time to get them setup before your arrival. Bath towels & bedding are provided. Please note that the kids bedroom is not advised for more than 2 adults due to the pull out bed below the bunks. WiFi is available, However it is limited so streaming or downloading is not a good idea but there is more than sufficient data for all your basic internet needs. Data bundles can be purchased as you require. (We love this place because we can escape the digital world). There is a T.V with several Chanels, USB input for external drives as well as a DVD player so please bring your own content if you wish to keep the kids entertained. We do have some classics available for you to use. There is a Bluetooth entertainment system downstairs to easily sync your phone or laptop to your favorite playlists.

Within a few blocks is a food lover's market for groceries, as well as infamous Long Street which is skirted with bars, coffee shops, and nightlife. One block away is the city sightseeing stop and office. Long Street and Adderley Street has multiple MyCiti Bus stops, 4 blocks away is the Cape Town Train station for buses and trains. Ther are cab services around where I can give you a number for or Uber is really convenient way to get around.

An e-mail is sent to the guest prior to their arrival , with my and staff contact numbers , other useful information ...... local groceries stores , restaurant and tour suggestions . The apartment is conveniently located in a suburban residential area of Camps Bay. This hillside neighborhood is quiet and has access to nearby restaurants, bars, the beach, and downtown. Car and taxi are good or quickest . Bus ( my citi bus ) stop is 500 meters away , every 20 minutes . The apartment is cleaned daily , except for Sundays and public holidays , however requests for either can be arranged .
