Raj’s place is a cute little cottage tucked back off the main road. It was super comfortable and clean. The inside is nice decorated and a bit of a surprise from the plain exterior. Raj is in the process of renovating an old motel and the cottage is the first to be completed- it will all be great when done but not what you might expect now at first glance today. Raj is rightly proud of the work being done. He is a super communicated with lots of area suggestions and helpful hints. The cottage had fresh flowers, fruit, and even cloth napkins. Really everything we needed for a comfortable overnight stay.

Location. Location. Location. This property entitles you to beach, boating, biking, walking, crabbing, fishing, and many more activities. We throughly enjoyed traveling with my 5 year old the street location off the “main drive” which meant fewer cars and less noise. If you’re looking to enjoy the CT shoreline, this home is a 10!

Becky is a wonderful host, the bungalow is airy, sunny with large windows that all have a view of the lake with a variety of birds to watch. The outside sitting area is great for morning coffee. We took a relaxing walk around the lake which is butted up to a state park.The surrounding towns are a must to visit especially Chester, which is my favorite. We will visit again !

We enjoyed our stay here. It was in close proximity to the highway and our relatives with lots of local restaurants. The house is spotless and I had no reservations about letting my toddler crawl around. The kitchen was well stocked and even had an airfryer! Bathrooms had plenty of towels and the access to laundry was great. Danielle went above and beyond by making sure we had a few things on the premise for our toddler. On a side note, I highly recommend a walk to the beach (even in November).
