Rohan is an exceptional host... His parents are very kind, they treated us like their own child. I stayed there for 5 days and that feel was amazing. This place is also at walkable distance from Zoo,Happy valley, Tanzing rock and Rope way. And taxi stand is just across the road...His mother makes very tasty food.I mentioned this because when you climb hills and get tired you need good food. And She charges minimal for this... I will highly recommend This property😇

Avikesh missed posting the main views photos, the mountain, valley and river views were so awesome and serene! The location is very calm and peaceful, we had a very nice sleep all the nights we stayed there. The apartment was very specious. The beds, rooms and bathrooms were super clean. Nice restaurants for all preferences were nearby, including the south Indian Malabar. The market was at walkable distance and all essentials were available. Avikesh and Joseph were great hosts, they helped us arranging local sight seeing with a good driver and vehicle at a very reasonable rate. Internet speed and stability was very good.

Leon's place was perfect for our 4 day stay in Kalimpong..we stayed in the Maina suite and the house was absolutely incredible and super functional. We loved how they took care of each small detail like decor, furnishing, comfort and an amazing balcony space overlooking the valley. Both Leon and Prasan were very helpful for anything you need. must stay.

We had an amazing time at Boho Bliss. The host, who was actually the father, was a great host. He helped us with almost everything. We had a very warm welcome and the stay was no less than perfect. Highly recommended for both friends and family!!

The host Mr Leon 🚵 went above and beyond with their kindness 💗 starting with a surprise Peach 🍑 Wine on my birthday, and then another lovely surprise at checkout: a beautiful set of incense sticks that I absolutely loved.🥺 It's rare to find such a thoughtful and welcoming host.🫰 Special thanks to Mr. Prasan 🤓 the manager, who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout the stay 😃 he made everything even smoother and more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, charm, and a truly memorable experience! 💝

The house was very clean and the view from the Balcony was stunning. All the basic utensils Needed to cook was provided. Another point which is worth mentioning is the bathroom was clean. The staff were very helpful and responsive. I will definitely will like to stay again if I visit Kalimpong again. Thank you Leon, Prasan and all the staff.

Calm and peaceful stay

A very beautiful place to stay, calm and safe with lots of birds around, and just a short walk to the center of Darjeeling. I stayed at the beginning of March, and unfortunately, there was almost no view due to cloudy weather. However, it was still a great stay, and I loved the place. The breakfast was rich and delicious, and the hosts were very welcoming and friendly, happy to help with anything you might need. For example, I asked for a softer mattress and it was provided in just a few hours. They also recommended a good travel agency that organized a jeep tour to Sandakphu, which I really enjoyed.

I had a truly wonderful stay at Ngorchen’s Homestay. The space was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged — perfect for both work and relaxation. Ngorchen is a kind and considerate host who made me feel at home right from the beginning. The room had everything I needed, and the peaceful environment made my stay incredibly comfortable. I especially appreciated the small touches, like the warm lighting and the calm ambiance of the entire space. Communication was smooth, and any questions I had were quickly answered. I loved my time here so much that I even extended my stay! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a homely and peaceful experience. Thank you again, Ngorchen!

Ein sehr schöner, ruhiger Ort in einem kleinem Dorf umgeben von Wald und Feldern. Direkter Fussweg zur Monastery. Hübsches traditionelles Haus mit individueller Gestaltung. Sehr leckeres Essen. Sanu ist sehr freundlich, offen, flexibel und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Ein besonderer Ort.

I found this hotel esly, the people here were very nice and the food here was also very good and the view here was also very good, this is the best homestay of Darjeeling.

Words can’t do justice to our experience at The Attic. We arrived in the evening and were welcomed with such warmth and genuine joy by Udaya and Sangeetha ji that we instantly felt at home. Every morning began with a beautiful, lovingly prepared breakfast hosted by the most wonderful people we were privileged to call our hosts. Udaya, with his infectious enthusiasm, boundless energy, and incredible stories, made it so hard to get up from the table and start our adventures. After long, fulfilling days exploring, we’d return to their comforting hospitality that recharged us like magic. I’m in awe of Udaya’s unwavering love, determination, and effortless grace in preserving his family’s heritage and way of life. It’s inspiring to witness such genuine care and passion in every little detail. I’m running out of characters to describe how truly special this place and its people are — but if you get the chance to visit The Attic, grab it with both hands. You’ll never forget it.

Our family trip become more joyous as soon we checked in JJ Trible Inn. Yes, the home stay was selected for our family holidays had fulfilled all our requirements with it's unique Tribal theme, aesthetically decorated, neat and tidy linen with all other required amenities really made us comfortable like home. The balcony had spectacular views of Mount Kanchanjanga holding the clouds around and Darjeeling City mesmerizing in morning mist and glittering in dark night. The personalized hospitality of hosts Mrs. and Mr. Munindra Lama with their cooperative, friendly and caring nature for all of us felt really nice and heartwarming. Seems like all our future stays are now pre decided for Darjeeling. Highly recommended to feel "Home away from Home".

We stayed here for a little less than 2 weeks in mid - Sept. This was our first time in a homestay and we really enjoyed having the entire apartment to ourselves. For a long period of stay, a hotel room can get quite boring. The apartment was big and well- maintained and thoughtfully decorated. But the best thing was the view from the den , where the windows open on to the valley . We were able to witness the Kanchenjunga range in its full glory at different times of the day. The best way to spend time is to sit at the workstation and watch the sky and clouds while reading or painting. The caretaker Sunil was extremely helpful and took care of all our requirements in terms of arranging cabs and getting us our daily requirements of water etc. His wife Shikha is an amazing cook and her chicken chowmein and chicken momos were our favourites. She even learnt to make us dishes from you tube based on our requests. All in all, a memorable stay in a lovely apartment, and the host was very helpful in recommending points of interest and stayed in touch with us as if we were her personal guests . Highly recommend this homestay !

Our stay at Nawang’s place was great. We shall rate him as super host. Hospitality of Nawang and his wife Ruhi always made us feel at home. They are very caring. My husband is having a knee problem. The way Nawang assisted him on our way to and back from Mall Road is highly admirable. Ruhi’s company in my total tour, I will treasure in my memories. Food was not only delicious but also prepared and served hygienically. Cleanliness in the homestay was highly maintained. Scenic view from the balcony was adorable. In future again if I visit Darjeeling I will choose to stay at Salakha Homestay. I will always refer others to choose Salakha Homestay if you want to have a very cozy homely environment, with good hospitality, delicious food and above all a good company i.e. a super host.

Sorry for the late review We enjoyed our stay at Sushil’s place Positive points are - view is very beautiful even better than tiger hills - host respond every time helpful in nature - breakfast is delicious (paratha with sabzi) more options available - tea and coffee is provided in kitchen we are free to make it - In room every bed has its heating pad due to which u will have a warm and cozy sleep - host even arrange bone-fire for us - location is good near Mall Road and Mahakal temple around 5 min walk - overall its a happy stay we are 9 in total Negative points are - it’s a hard time finding the location due to unclear landmark description(host came to fetch us) ( landmark - down lane to observatory or next to Mayfair resort) - always have written whatapp or mail screenshot of the final price u and host agree for extra people (so no miscommunication) Overall 🤩 We are happy with stay at Sushil place he responded on every call so that is something very good 👍

We stayed here for 4N-5D with family and we had a very good experience. The owner of this bnb Sushil was very polite and very well- behaved. The view from the hotel is outstanding, location is also good but the way is a bit steep so might cause problems for aged people, but I must mention Sushil himself carried my parents upto Rajbhavan everyday proactively, appreciate it. All the amenities which is mentioned were provided and the behaviour of the owner makes it above 5 star.

The sunrise view from the rooftop was mind blowing, we dint feel the need to travel to Tiger Hill.

Rohan's place was absolutely beautiful, just as he described. He was incredibly responsive and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. His mother is such a kind and warm person, and she treated us to a delicious home-cooked dinner. Overall, our experience at Rohan's place was fantastic, and we would definitely recommend it!
