This beautiful cottage is situated in an idyllic location; listen to the gurgling river as you sit on the decking or drift off to sleep. One minute's walk away over a Victorian swing bridge is an enchanting pebble beach. Here you may see seals, dolphins, salmon, and plenty of seabirds depending on the season. Ideally placed for the North Coast 500, this modernised cottage is warm and cosy with central heating and hot water provided by a biomass boiler, and a wood burning stove for cooler nights.

The Hide is a super get-away for anyone travelling around Scotland on the NC500 or on your own adventure looking for a unique stay. Almost off-grid, it has a comfy bed, central woodburner and spectacular view. It's the perfect stepping stone towards the full off-grid experience, intended for people who are curious about living the off-grid lifestyle but also like to be able to charge their phone, boil a kettle and have a hot shower! Foulis Gate Lodge is a Highland cottage on the Gates of an historic, private, Highland estate with its own drive. The secluded location offers direct access to extensive gardens. The nearest amenities are 2miles in Evanton or 5miles to the ancient Burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm). My place is good for NC500 travellers, couples, and business travellers.

On the North Coast 500 route, this property offers an ideal location for exploring both Caithness and Sutherland. Melvich boasts a sandy beach within a 5 minute walk from the cottage. A short walk takes you into Brora which boasts a beautiful beach, lovely walks, Links golf course and a host of eateries and shops to enjoy. The Lookout is situated to make the most of the uninterrupted views towards the sea. There is a decked area and an enclosed private garden alongside for your sole use. Berriscue House is a beautiful, bespoke cottage - located in the centre of Thurso, hidden away from the world with a large walled garden and private entrance. Five minute walk from the beach. Everything you need for a cosy Scottish retreat! If booking the same day after 6pm please message as it may still be possible to book. If you require the extra bed in the living room, you must tell us in your initial message so we know to prepare this for you.
