Perfect for a get away. Everything looks beter than the pictures. Clean and very comfortable. Laurie is an excellent host, very creative to make us feel comfortable. Next time I need a place to stay in Connecticut, I hoop this one is available.

Charming Dream Getaway Suite

Yokasta’s place exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The house was incredibly clean, well-organized, and had everything we needed. Communication with Yokasta was fast, kind, and super helpful. It’s clear she really cares about her guests. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Southbridge.

Artsy Barn in the Country

HaleyRating, 5 stars9 months ago
I stayed with friends for the September Brimfield Antiques Faire and had an incredible time. If you’re coming for the show, this place is a great option—the drive to Brimfield is about 30 minutes, but very easy and straightforward, and the Threadbare clothing and textiles show is only a few minutes’ drive down the main road. Monica was a great host and responded to our messages very quickly, bringing us things we requested and giving helpful instructions as needed. She keeps the place stocked with books, cassettes, games, etc. You can tell she put thought and care into making a great space for entertaining. The barn was bigger and nicer than expected based on the great price, and though the “bedrooms” were all connected, we each felt we had our own space and were able to decompress and sleep easily. The kitchen was stocked with most of what we needed to make our meals at home, and we had more than enough towels and bedding for all of us. I would definitely stay here again!

Little House Inn - Brimmy - Private Home

NateRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We were on the way back home from Acadia and were highly pleased with our decision to split up the drive with a night at Cheryl’s place. Perfect landing place for families with kids, as ours instantly went to town playing in the bedroom, which was packed with all sorts of fun options. It is cozy and feels very much like home. Old Sturbridge Village was a short drive the next day and fascinating itself. Very welcoming and affordable option for families!

Gary and Cindy have one of the most special spaces I’ve ever stayed in. The house has so much character, super functional and the property is outstanding - we especially loved the adorable cubbies (I’m 6’1” and I had enough space to stretch out!) Gary and Cindy were so lovely, welcoming and absolute pleasures to chat with! They have wonderful recommendations for local hiking trails and places to eat. I would come back to Cindy and Gary’s in a heartbeat, it was one of the most memorable places I’ve ever stayed!

Charming Barn Loft with Modern Comforts

SummerRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The space was very nicely laid out and homey. We did not use the kitchen, but there were plenty of items available. The bathroom was well stocked and clean. The opinion on the bed was 50/50 between my husband and I; he did not find it comfortable, but I thought it was. The television does flip around to face both the couch and bed, however, the angle from the bed is not ideal. The yard/animal pen directly behind the space looked well kept(not sure if it is the owner’s), but it’s always nice to have pleasant surroundings. There was a rooster and a peacock that made noise in the early morning that did wake us up, but we live in the country so we’re used to it, but others may not be. The driveway to the barn was too uneven for my vehicle to make it all the way down next to the barn, but the walk was no more than 100ft so no big deal there. Vehicles with more ground clearance would not have any issues though. Overall, I would give the space 9/10.
