Holiday rentals with breakfast in West Cliff

Lovely place to stay. Clean and well equipped. Easy walk into the city centre. Lisa provided lots of useful information prior to our stay and was easy to contact during the stay. Would definitely stay here again

It is a stunning cottage and we would have loved to stay longer than just a weekend! The place is cosy, spacious and has beautiful views of the countryside. The host, Virginia was very thoughtful, friendly and helpful on checking and throughout the stay.

Lovely accommodation, very responsive and helpful hosts. The weather was so lovely and there was a lovely sheltered seating area outside, this was so pleasant we actually cancelled our restaurant reservation and ate at the house! Short walk into York, great location.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed and was lovely and clean. Perhaps not great for someone with mobility issues (quite steep steps up to the front door) but it was perfect for us.

This is a great space, really well located. We were here for work and the walk to the train station through the park and alongside the river was very pleasant. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it

Great place to stay everything was spot on good parking on nearby pub where the food was excellent good location for visiting Bempton Cliffs. Full English breakfast served by Barrie’s wife was top notch.

My Stepdaughter and I really enjoyed our stay in Strensall and we had everything we needed for a lovely stay. It was near to two pubs which were both really good and within walking distance of where we were staying.

We had a lovely break in Saltburn but Peter’s place absolutely made it for us. Even though it is a huge apartment, it felt cosy. The beds were so comfortable. And a well equipped kitchen. We loved enjoying a morning coffee taking in the view, and my nephew enjoyed beating everyone at air hockey! Highly recommend Peter’s accommodation, and we’ll definitely be back.

Arrived at the apartment and found no issues with getting a space to park on the road outside. Accessing the key and letting ourselves into the apartment was easy. Upon entering the apartment it was spotless, beautifully decorated and well equipped. There is also a nice little outside area at the back of the house which is dog escape proof with some nice picnic benches to sit out. The location is perfect - short walk down to the beach, short walk to Peasholm Park, lots of places to eat out in walking distance too. The only issue we did have, which is of no fault of the host, is the fact it was pretty noisy, lots of people coming in an out of the main building door in the early hours of the morning and a lot of banging around upstairs/next door - had to wear earplugs at night.

Entering through a rather modest door right off the street we found Andrea's flat to be spacious, modern and spotlessly clean. As previous reviews the bedroom at the rear of the property is very quiet so you get a good night's sleep in the huge comfy bed. The kitchen is modern, well equipped with several nice touches left for us to get our stay started. The shower gives a good hot flow, much better than the puny electric ones in most properties. We are really pleased to have found Andrea's flat and as we visit York at least once a year we hope to stay again.

The Guest Place was a lovely place to stay, perfectly appointed (with a really comfy bed!), spotlessly clean and in a gorgeous street. Walking distance to amenities and the beach too. Ann was a great host, communicated regularly and made me feel really welcome. I hope to stay again!

Maria is a very pleasant lady to speak to. She responds to any queries or questions quite quickly. She helpful and genuine. I would recommend Maria's flat, especially if you need a self check in place that you can check into after a long journey. Maria's flat is clean and tidy , and has a very comfy bed, and bedding. I slept well while I stayed there, it felt like home from home, a cosy space during the time I needed to stay somewhere while building work was being done in my new home. I would stay there again for sure if I needed to, and would recommend it to friends if they were visiting the area.

The place was in a great location and we could walk around and explore comfortably. There was lots to do locally and great places to visit. The accommodation had lots of little extra bits which made our stay nicer. There were toiletries, tea/coffee, milk and juice which was provided The host was very helpful and responsive. We would recommend this place!

Helen's ground floor apartment was clean, comfortable and tidy. The beds and bedrooms were roomy and had plenty of storage. The location was perfect for walking to all the restaurants and attractions in the city as parking could get very expensive. All in all, we had a marvelous time in York and in particular, staying at Helen's apartment.

Katy & Stephen are really friendly and made us welcome. Our room was spotlessly clean, peaceful and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast provided with lovely home made bread and jams. It's in a lovely area, with lots of great walks to explore.

George & Christine were excellent hosts and provided a lovely breakfast with so much choice. They have a lovely bungalow in a quiet setting with a beautiful garden, and we loved watching all the birds on the feeders. George gave us ideas on places to visit, which was really helpful. Being out of the town, it was easy to get to many places of interest. Will recommend to any friends wanting to stay in Whitby. Thank you so much.

We loved our stay at Ruth’s. She was a wonderful host, ensuring that we had a most comfortable and enjoyable time in her special house. Of all the places we have stayed in Whitby, this was by far the best. We can’t wait to return!

We had a really wonderful stay at the West Royd B&B. Lovely room with all the facilities we would need. Phil was a kind and helpful host, and it was the perfect location to explore the Cleveland Way Coast Path and Robin Hood’s Bay itself. Whenever we’re back in the area I am sure we will stay here again!
