Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This former Architect’s studio has been set up as a one bedroom guest house. It is a wonderful spot to relax and snuggle up next to the fire with your favorite book, beverage, or a special someone. The studio is very private with only the trees or maybe a visiting moose to see in. We are 30 min. to Ragged Mountain and Newfound Lake. Is a spacious 24 foot Yurt next to Mt Cardigan state park. From the Yurt you can hike ,snow shoe or backcountry ski on miles of well marked AMC trails , as well as climb Firescrew and Mt Cardigan. This is the only off-grid Yurt acessable to the AMC state park. This is not a drive up, in the winter prepare to hike 1 mile, and in the summer 300 yards up a windy forest path. The Yurt has everything you will want from a wood stove , cook stoves. We have raised the price for plowing cost
