Amazing location right on the river with beautiful views and excellent fishing. Incredibly relaxing! Highly recommend and would definitely return.

We loved the property of this cabin. It was beautiful and well maintained. The river was one of my favorite spots to read or have my morning coffee. There were many perks and amenities to this place that weren't listed online, like hammocks, campfire pokers, blow-dryer, yard games, fire pit, folding chairs, plastic storage containers, etc. And I loved all the buffalo plaid decor all around. The signs and decor were really nice too, So much to look at. My family had plenty of room inside the cabin to sleep and have their own space. There was also lots of outdoor seating and space outside on the property to come together for dinner or games. Nina was very responsive and gave clear instructions for entering and leaving the property. She was polite and made our stay pleasant. We would stay at this property again.

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin in the woods! The hot tub was perfect to relax and enjoy the nature around. We seen several deer on the property. The house was accommodating and had all the basics. We appreciated the firewood as the days and nights were chilly and we love to cook on the fire. Communication with the owners was easy with quick responses.

This rental hits the bullseye on the little things - lighting, ambience, seclusion, the whole package coming together to provide an invigorating and refreshing experience for the two of us. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful cozy house, very comfortable, especially the beds/pillows. All the amenities were great. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and the sauna.

Nice cabin in the woods. Hot tub works but could use a new control panel. Inside is what we expected and more. Comfy beds. two fire pits outside. if you have small kids like us be aware there is a steep drop around one side and partly behind the cabin thats pretty close to fire pit. If i decide to stay near baldwin or go hunting the state game area i will deffinitly be back here. not the cleanist place but for the price im not even gonna conplain. wasnt terrible but could have been dusted and swept up a little more. i just grabbed the broom in the bathroom and used the shark vaccum on arrival and when we left. its not nasty dirty so dont take me the wrong way. for the price conpared to similar cabins and what we got out of it i feel its worth it by a long shot. Loved our stay at the cabin! Beautiful inside and out. Enjoyed the hot tub!After exploring hiking trails at Sleeping Bear it was a God send. The town was adorable and close to other areas we enjoy like Frankfort and Traverse City. It truly was a peaceful oasis. My husband loves to cook and the kitchen was fun for him. We enjoyed fires on the deck, fire pit and fire place. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful place with everything you need.

It was great despite of the cold weather. . I wish I could've stayed a few more days.

We had a great weekend. The cabin is lovely. We hiked at the nearby nature area, fished in the lake & surrounding areas, and explored downtown. We made breakfasts and dinners at the cabin and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were all comfortable. We enjoyed the variety of boats available.

My wife and I went here with our two dogs for our 4 year anniversary and the location was perfect. It was very peaceful and we are very happy that we were able to stay at this property and make memories.

Than & Lisa are amazing hosts. The cabin more than suits the needs for anyone looking to go off the grid and find all the peace and quiet that exists on the property and surrounding nature. Speaking of nature, it’s a stone throw from Manistee National Forest and the North Country Trail (Hiking trail running from Vermont to North Dakota) if you’re into that type of thing. If not, there is plenty to offer even the infrequent outdoorsy person something to gravitate to. Be mindful of the lack of internet (cellphone) service…but that’s the point right?!?!

Cute and comfy cabin! Private and serene location in the woods. Hosts were very responsive and flexible. Rustic feel yet modern comforts. Very nice new bathroom and updated appliances. Nice fenced-in yard surrounded by nature. Very clean. Very minimal to zero cell phone service but nice to escape that.

A peaceful and relaxing cabin setting right on the water. A nice outdoor area with porches, chairs, fireplace and dock. The place was cozy and well appointed with modern amenities and supplies. We enjoyed the location as a base to relax and do day trips around the area.

Perfect cabin in a secluded location with nice river access. Would stay here again. Erica was proactive with communication and very quick to respond! This was such an ideal place to celebrate our anniversary. The cabin is absolutely beautiful in a peaceful and private setting, which gave us permission to unplug and relax. We loved the sauna outside and enjoyed our meals in the shade of the surrounding trees. It’s already a really special place, and the hosts went above and beyond with amenities and details that elevated the experience beyond any other Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. We will definitely return to create more memories and connect with each other in this quiet and lovely cabin. Absolutely perfect!

The cabin is beautiful and very clean. It is well away from the nearest neighbouring cabins and the driveway is about 300 yards long into the forest so completely secluded and very peaceful. We had a few visits from the wild turkeys in the evening just before dusk which was lovely. We did have one evening where we were visited by lots of mosquitoes but being in the middle of the forest it was to be expected. We bought some oil and a burner and problem solved! The gas bbq was an added bonus. A lovely stay, thank you.

Truly an exceptional stay. Top tier hosts that have gone above and beyond to make the stay feel like home. Incredibly clean, no bugs. A really nice little house. Property is beautifully maintained. So relaxing. Wildlife everywhere. We loved all the turtles. The only negative would be the goose poop all over the yard, but that’s just wild life being wild (I would just pack footwear accordingly) Overall, we are super happy with our stay and hope to be back! Thanks for everything!

A perfect place to get away from everything. It was hard to choose whether to sit on the deck, down by the water or the fireplace! Walking into the river to fish right from the backyard was a huge bonus. Cathy was quick to respond to all questions and recommendations. Can’t wait to stay here again.

We had a great time during our short visit to the cabin. There was coffee & oatmeal available, and the firepit was stocked with a bundle of wood for us. (There's a small pile of bramble close by to pick through as well). Internet worked great despite the remote location of the cabin. We visited to travel into Ludington, but actually spent most of our time & money in Custer & Scottville (great close towns with markets, meat shops, & cute gifts). Warning for any plus sized guests: the toilet is placed directly next to the wall. If you've got a big booty like mine, you will not be comfortable using it. Great amenities, quiet location, easy to find, and exceptional, friendly hosts. We will definitely be back if we're in the area again!
