Fantastic view and friendly staff! We enjoy walking so the location was great for us, and it’s easy to take a tuk tuk if needed. The area is a bit noisy, there was construction going on during the day but we didn’t find it bothersome in the evenings so we could get rest. The breakfast is good, with fresh fruit and the omelette it was what we needed.

I had a great time at mevanda's "Jungala". The accommodation is not only cosy and tastefully furnished, but also offers a fantastic view – perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. I would especially like to highlight the hostess: Mevanda was always available, extremely helpful and took care of everything with a lot of heart. You feel immediately welcome and in good hands. If you are looking for a relaxing break in a beautiful, natural environment, you have come to the right place. I'd love to come back!

Loved this place in Ella. The views are stunning and each room feels like its own little house. Anil was so nice, even saw us one night in the town and gave us a ride back to the place. Breakfast was also great with an amazing view of the valley. I can not recommend more this place, staff is so friendly and everything was clean and comfortable

Our best find in Sri Lanka. Hosts, Michael & Ruwanthi are so friendly & helpful, going out of their way to make sure we had a truly wonderful time. Glyn Myu is beautiful, luxurious & very comfortable. The location is quite simply breathtaking. Ruwanthi is an incredibly talented cook serving exquisite meals with most ingredients gathered from her extensive garden. Her knowledge of the dietary & medicinal properties of her homegrown larder is very impressive. She is also delighted to share her passion & knowledge. A Sri Lankan gem where we felt welcome, relaxed & immediately at home. They have a very informative website with contact details!

THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! We have never had such exceptionally friendly and warm hosts before. VJ and Tilia are unique, helpful, friendly, communicative, fun and made us feel very good and welcome. Individual wishes of our son were fulfilled and we can absolutely recommend this place. It is about 10 min TukTuk Ride from Ella. Below Ella Rock and across the street from Little Adams Peak. Nearby are great waterfalls for swimming and VJ drove us there with his new TukTuk. Breakfast was so rich that we always got a 'take away‘ box filled and had delicious snacks for the day. There was a delicious welcome tea overlooking the Ella Gap. Highly recommended again at any time.
