My friends and me really liked the appartment. The location is very good, in a calm and friendly neighbourhood and very close to the beach. The owners are very kind and warm-hearted people.

We had such a wonderful stay! It is probably one of the best experiences we have had with Airbnb so far. The hosts Gayana and Priti Kumar are extremely friendly and caring hosts, who make you feel at home immediately. They will take care of any needs that you have and are always available. The home has everything you need for a long-term stay and is in a more quiet area away from any busy areas. There is beautiful nature and many exotic animals to observe. I can highly recommend staying there if you are looking for a peaceful place a little outside of Galle.

Amazing. Friendly hosts and very helpful. spacious rooms with a nice common area. recommend having your own bike or car as it is a 5 mins inside from the main road.

The stay was a real dream!! The private jetty on the lake and the bathtub in the garden.... speechless. And the beach is literally 2 minutes walk away... To repeat!

J’ai passé un séjour incroyable à La Maison VEDA. L’appartement de type loft est magnifique et très bien équipé, avec une cuisine moderne (four, plaques de cuisson, frigo), un grand lit à baldaquin et une terrasse privée. Chaque jour, j’ai profité du jardin paisible au bord du lac Koggala, où j’ai pu observer des singes noirs et marron, des varans, des martins-pêcheurs, et même des paons 🦚! la richesse de la vie sauvage est extraordinaire. Voir les pêcheurs partir au lever du soleil sur leurs bateaux traditionnels était un moment magique. J’ai également participé à une retraite de yoga avec Aurélie, organisée dans l’hôtel juste à côté, qui pouvait accueillir les 15 participants yogis que nous étions. La Maison VEDA était l’option la plus intimiste, avec un loft à la location et une maison d’hôtes 2 chambres au bord du lac. C’était tout simplement magique. Le studio de yoga sur le toit offre une vue imprenable sur le lac, et j’ai adoré les cours de Kundalini avec Aurélie. Il y a aussi

Nós alugamos a white villa por 1 mês, 2 dias depois decidimos prolongar a nossa estadia na white Villa por mais 1 mês. Fazendo dela a " nossa casa no Sri Lanka " aqui estamos numa zona a 4,6km da praia Weligama e é perfeito para o que queremos. Uma casa nova com varios quartos ( onde recebemos familia e amigos). A casa fica num lugar lindo ( completamente dissimulada na vegetação) em frente arrozais a perder de vista ( ótimo para o nosso jogging matinal) aqui acordas com o " barulho" do Pavão ao nascer do sol e estás completamente rodeados pela natureza e vida selvagem ( lagarto monitor lindo passeia no nosso quintal) esquilos e alguns Mangustos. o quintal tem espaço suficiente para treinar,apenas precisa algumas comodidades para ser perfeito (tipo uma cama de rede e umas esperguiçadeiras e era TOP) Weranga é nosso vizinho ( na casa de cima a 40 metros distancia) só te apercebes da presença dele quando necessitas (e está sempre disponivel e rsponde-te em menos 10 minutos). Seniru and Samarasinghe were amazing. Super friendly and attentive hosts, with a comfortable and functional room right on the river. The bed was nice, and had a nice little kitchen, big fridge, table for eating and working, decent wifi, and decent bathroom. A nice quiet spot only a short walk to restaurants and the beach. They were also very kind with bringing me lunch and some fresh fruit. Highly recommended 😊

This is a perfect place for a laid back holiday, just far enough from Mirissa's hustles & bustles, but it's just 5/10 minutes drive if you hire a scotty. The place is new, have all the amenities, rooftop kitchen is a big plus. The host is super friendly and helpful, he kept providing us drinking water the whole time and he is going to install a water purifier in the apartment as well. We are the first guest here, we loved the place and would highly recommend!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Es war eine der schönsten Unterkünfte die wir in Sri Lanka hatten. Makellos sauber und neu, gute Klimaanlage und was uns am besten gefallen hat: Eine richtig schöne ruhige und private Lage. Wir konnten vom Balkon aus Affen, Vögel und Eichhörnchen beobachten. Man ist mitten in der Natur und es ist so entspannend 🥰 Wir konnten unser Tuktuk im Hof parken und flexibel ein- und auschecken. Die Gastgeber sind eine Familie die im Haus nebenan leben und sie sind alle so freundlich und zuvorkommend und ließen uns gleichzeitig unsere Privatsphäre. Wir können es nicht genug empfehlen und würden jederzeit wieder hier wohnen. Danke Rashmi ❤️

This was our favorite stay so far in 6 weeks in Sri Lanka. Location is absolutely stunning in nature with an incredible patio overlooking the lake. We saw so many animals while sitting out there. The house itself is brand new and perfectly clean and super comfortable. This is a great long term option. It is further from the center of Weligama, which I personally loved because you’re out of the noise and bustle of the city but still a quick tuk tuk or scooter ride into town. The staff onsite are extremely kind of welcoming and are available to help all the time. Would 100% recommend this property!!

Wow! Nous avons passé un séjour magique de trois semaines au Nomads Colive. Par ou commencer: la vue sur le lac, le style de la chambre, la fenêtre de la douche qui donne sur la jungle et les oiseaux, les bruits paisibles des animaux ou des chants du temple bouddhiste à côté, notre balcon, nos voisins les singes (mieux qu'un safari!), le personnel adorable toujours présent pour répondre à nos besoins, le quartier avec que des gentilles personnes qui vous sourient. C'était incroyable! C'est situé dans un quartier résidentiel donc vous ne serez pas à côté des restaurants: mais sans hésiter, venez ici! Vous serez au calme et en pleine nature, c'est tellement ressourçant. En seulement quelques minutes vous serez en ville, en tuk tuk ou en scooter que l'hôte peut arranger pour vous. Je conseillerai à n'importe qui de venir ici, nous reviendrons !

Sehr schöner Ort, um gemütlich am Strand zu liegen und sich zu entspannen. Die Surfschule nebenan ist auch sehr zu empfehlen. Hier kann man Entspannung und Action super miteinander vereinen. Die Unterkunft war sauber, das Frühstück (Buffet) lecker und das Team vor Ort sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Können es sehr empfehlen😊

Spacious, homey, well equipped in a well secured modern residence, which is not crowded at all. We rented a scooter and it's nice that there's a parking spot available. Would recommend 👍

This experience was one of the greatest of all. Dillip is such a nice person, he cares about your well-being, he is so attentive to whatever you are needing, he made me feel like I was with a life-time friend. We had a couple of cool adventures together, because he showed me places to visit nearby. He taught me how to prepare local dishes and all of his cooking is just breathtaking. As a solo female traveler I felt safe all my stay! His family is so nice, his father brought me fruits almost daily and we had great conversations even though the language barrier. I want to come back to this magical place, totally recommend it! You will get the chance to meet an amazing human being and hopefully get a friendship on the way!
