Le Wood cabin was absolutely perfect for my sister bachelorette weekend! The house was absolutely gorgeous! The pictures don’t even do the place justice! Place had all the amenities linens, pots, pans, glasses, toilet paper, lighters for fireplace and so much more! It was so nice to not be stressed about all the little things. We were 12 minutes to downtown Jim Thorpe & it was the perfect spot! Edwin very quick to answer questions and provide help! We even talked about booking again next year! Place was super clean! Also had a coffee bar that was completely unexpected!

Wonderful place to stay! If you are looking to stay off the beaten trail and enjoy a quiet time away, this is the place for you! We enjoyed spending every night in the hot tub and relaxing with the TV. Even though it rained most of our trip, the house was well-stocked with games and music. We loved playing pool together at night! The little Nespresso coffee bar was amazing! Would definitely recommend bringing a four-wheel drive vehicle to get to the house, and ensure that you get there while it is still light outside (at least the first time). It was very easy to get to downtown Jim Thorpe to enjoy all it has to offer. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone that wants to visit Jim Thorpe or even just to have a quaint, intimate weekend getaway!

We couldn’t have asked for a more thoughtful and gracious host than Cathleen. From the moment we made our last-minute booking, she was incredibly responsive and accommodating. We were in town for our grandfather’s memorial service, and Cathleen’s kindness truly touched us—she even left a heartfelt sympathy card for our family. The home was perfect for our group of two families (nine of us total), with plenty of space to gather and even welcome visiting relatives. The s’mores supplies were such a sweet touch and made for a comforting evening by the fire. This home, and Cathleen’s hospitality, made a difficult time feel a little lighter. We plan on returning and making this stay a family tradition. We’re so grateful—thank you, Cathleen!

Joe’s place was absolutely amazing—even better than the photos! We were on a girls’ trip and the home was incredibly spacious for our group of 8. We especially loved the open layout and the beautiful vaulted ceilings, which made the space feel even more expansive. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need, and while we didn’t get to use the basement much, it was impressively large and well set up. Every detail was thoughtfully labeled, and the entire place was immaculate—super clean and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable, and the overall vibe of the home was warm and inviting. We loved our stay and would absolutely come back again!
