The Studio at Barnhill House offers an elegant and comfortable breakaway in the beautiful surroundings of The Vintage Golf Estate in the heart of the Hunter Valley. Relax and enjoy the views in this peaceful countryside setting. We cater to couples, friends and small families who are looking for a place to escape the rat race but still close enough to enjoy all that the Hunter Valley offers. Guests can also wander through the vineyard, enjoy a tasting (on request) and take in the surrounding captivating scenery.

Minnalong Cottage This lovely one-bedroom, private cottage is set on a working horse property. It is perfect for a couple's getaway or single traveller to explore the beautiful Hunter Valley. It is conveniently situated for a self-guided tour of the Hunter Valley vineyards including Pokolbin, Wollombi and Broke. It is located at the base of the Watagan Mountains, with easy access for bush walking, picnics or 4WDing. Newcastle and beaches are 45 minutes drive away and Port Stephens 1 hour.

The cottage accommodates up to 6 guests and suits those wanting to wind down by the fire pit in winter or on the back deck watching the sunset in summer - whilst enjoying the bounty of the Wine Country region. A picturesque 25 minute drive will have you in the heart of the wineries during the day - then back to Claret Ash Cottage by night to wine, dine and admire the view.
