Waterville is a small town just off the interstate in Central Maine and is approximately an hour from all major cities, the mountains, the coast, and about 2 1/2+-hrs to Acadia. The rental is in a residential neighborhood less than a mile from the interstate, Colby, restaurants, shopping, movies, and parks. There are many recreational opportunities nearby to walk/run, hike, bike, and/or kayak. The apartment has a private entrance, on the second floor (13 stairs up) in an owner occupied duplex.

Dámaris and Kenny were such kind, hospitable hosts who go above and beyond what's necessary. They were very communicative, they were flexible when issues came up on my end, and they were really generous about helping me out when needed. I am really thankful to have landed momentarily in such a human atmosphere and in such a lovely home.

My husband and I had a wonderful one night stay at Abbie’s place. Check-in was a breeze as well as finding the location and parking. The space is private and spacious and equipped with anything you may need for an extended stay (fridge, stove, microwave, dishes, etc.), and the bed is very comfortable, which was a bonus after traveling and hiking for multiple days. My husband and I woke up so refreshed after our stay, and I would recommend anyone to book Abbie’s place.

Brett was a fantastic host. Very easy communication and extremely easy arrival instructions. He is also very quiet, which is great for a light sleeper like me. The room and bathroom were fantastic, fastidiously clean, with all the supplies you need for a comfortable stay. I usually stay with my daughter, and as always found the room to be spotlessly clean, comfortable, and very cozy. It is such a delight to read the books in the room. We even went out to a bookstore and bought some of the books for later reading. The heat pump is very welcome when summer hits, it was very quiet and it was a wonderful sleep. The small kitchenette is useful for light meal preparation and we always enjoy a cup of coffee or tea from their selection. My only regret is that we had to leave so early. Another wonderful stay, this is truly a gem in the state.
