Holiday rentals with a kayak in Washtenaw County

A nice quant cottage, with lake access across the street. Everything was as described and pictures are accurate. Has a small cottage feel, was a bit dated, but that was to be expected. Was wonderful for the four of us for a weekend wedding (and was available during race weekend!!) The street it is on is a 25 MPH speed limit, and narrow, but gets a lot of traffic for the bar/restaurant (on the lake) just down the street. We were comfortable walking the neighborhood, and the close proximity of the bar/restaurant was nice also (and easy walk and delicious).

Thank you, Amanda for such a wonderful place and in an experience for my family. We were coming on a visit for a shower on Saturday that my niece was having up in Fenton and at first thought maybe we booked too far away. Number one it could’ve been an hour away and it would’ve been worth it and it actually ended up only being 20 minutes away. Also, we got to take the boys out while the girls were at the shower to the shops, the outlet shops. Everything was fantastic.

Beutiful spot. Great home base to explore the lower end of Michigan east to west. The outside are and view of the lake are outstanding.

Christinia’s place is very beautiful, quiet, and clean. She was very accommodating and communicative. We loved our stay. The lake is beautiful and it was great to have access to the kayak and paddle board. We will definitely stay again!

We thoroughly enjoyed Ryan's property. We were visiting the area to see the Nascar Race which was an easy country drive to the event. This lake house cottage is adorable. The family room was sooo comfortable to watch movies on a big screen TV. We especially enjoyed sitting outside by the firepit. The lake is on the smaller side but it was so peaceful and private! We didn't do any fishing but looks like a perfect place to fish! The house was well equipped and very clean. Do not hesitate to stay at this property.

We were in town for our son's wedding and we wanted a place that was comfortable, close to everywhere we needed to go, and where we could host small family gatherings in town for the wedding. This was the perfect place. It's a beautiful location, quiet and when the weather was nice and we had down time, we enjoyed the lake. Tyler our host was not only responsive, but proactive in reaching out to us to make sure that our stay at the Black Marlin was as comfortable as possible. He helped make our stay stress free, so we could focus on the wedding. I can't recommend this property and this host enough!

It looks exactly like the photos but the lake is prettier in person. Daniel was very responsive during the entire process and made sure we’d have everything we needed. Made my birthday very special! Definitely plan on booking again in the future.

Perfect place to stay - very clean and has great amenities. Plenty of open room in the house with an awesome backyard space. Enjoyed our stay, would return for another trip. Thank you to the hosts.

Judy's place was great she was one of the best hosts I've had on Airbnb. whenever we had a question she was quick to respond. It was clean and the hot tub was amazing with nature all around. First place I will look for when we come back to the area.

As always, a stay at Lori's never disappoints. It was spotless, beautiful, relaxing and calm. I just can't say enough nice things about the host. Even helped me surprise my wife with nice extras for pur anniversary.

This was the second time staying at Fran's place and we had a great stay. Fran's cottage is super cozy and well-appointed, with everything you need for cooking, whether you are preparing a simple meal or having a big BBQ. The couch is comfy and the beds are too. Since the front room window of Fran's cottage has an up close view of a small, uninhabited woody island, we didn't have to go very far for morning birdwatching! The cottage is in a small, quiet neighborhood and it feels very calm and far away from busy city life. However it's not a long drive to Detroit or other big cities/towns. We had some amazing canoe and kayak paddles on the lake and enjoyed seeing all the wildlife. The cottage is right on the water, so launching was simple. We especially appreciated that Fran took the extra time to leave nice snacks and coffee, much appreciated after a long trip.

Had a great stay. Made frequent use of the kayaks/canoe that were provided to get out and enjoy the beautiful lake. Seven adults in our group and we had plenty of room and comfortable accommodations. Debra is an excellent host and we would not hesitate to book with her again.

The Waterloo Cottage is quaint and cozy. The lake views and the shade trees are an extra bonus. The beds and linens made the stay even better. Paul and Renee are excellent hosts and were easy to communicate with. We highly recommend this cottage for a lake side stay!

Cozy space with a beautiful view of the river! Everything was spotless and clean, making me feel right at home. Would highly recommend if you're needing a place in Milford!

The cottage was perfect for our Father /Daughter get away. Two comfortable beds, and functional kitchen/relaxation area. The gold was outside!!….awesome dock, kayaks, huge grill, lakeside fire ring. We caught fish off the dock or wading out 50 yards or so. Perfect weekend. We even had rain one day and still had a great time. Hosts were so friendly and responsive. Will stay again.

Tempe and Jessica were great with communication. The place was beautiful and relaxing. We came down from Gaylord for the MIS race. It was close to the track and had plenty of room for our party of 5. Worth trying to book again if we go back to MIS next year! Thank you, ladies, for the great hospitality and accommodations.

My family came in for a weekend trip for the NASCAR race. It was a great location to the track. After a day at the track, the peaceful deck overlooking the lake was a perfect way to end and start each day. There was a great local ice cream shop a few miles down the road that we enjoyed. We would definitely stay here again if we come back for this particular race.

Jenn is a great host. The place is quiet, and the surroundings are perfect for a weekend getaway with friends. Highly recommended!

It was everything and more for what we were looking for in a weekend. Close proximity to lakes, fishing, and modern conveniences, but still separated and immersed in nature. The cabin itself has an aura of closeness to it. The kitchen was well stocked for use, and if we didnt have what was needed already, many before us left things to carry forward. The beds were a dream, and family tine in the living room felt more I solved than our own home. It was a surreal place to be with my family.

Kira and Morgan were fantastic hosts, going above and beyond multiple times throughout the trip. they offered great local recommendations, fantastic communication. great place to stay for a small family or would be great for a few girlfriends getting away to stay on the water
